An alignment of nations will come against Israel in the last days to destroy the Jewish state, Ezekiel 38. The Lord also told the prophet Ezekiel to tell the Jewish people that Jesus will protect them as foretold in Ezekiel 38:18-39:6. Even the name Israel which means, "I will fight for you", words of the Lord, are evidence that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will intercede for the Jewish people.
