stacy was not dead on the track!! they thought she would die either on the way to the hospital or in surgery but somehow she didnt. and on the day they talked about pulling the plug she opened her eyes!

as of now she's not who she used to be becuase of the comma but she got the ability to talk back and she can now even ride on a horse!!!!!! (obviously with some help and jsyk she remebers nothing of the collision poor thing)

the horse slipped and fell onto the mud like 30 seconds into the race (the rider lived) and got up and was basically blinded by the mud and only knew that it was on the race way and that he should be doing it's job which is running full speed :(

Wow...thats a total freak accident. I had worked in racing for a couple years and am still a huge fan...just FYI that this type of accident is extremely rare. Even though in this case the outriders didn't catch the loose horse, most people will do everything in their power to prevent accidents any type of accident or injury...but like I said, this was a freak accident.
