  • Shouldn't they at least mention the Princess at one point in the story? After all it's The Legend of ZELDA.

  • IF NAVI DIDN'T FUCKIN LEAVE HYRULE NONE OF THIS SHIT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED! FUCK U NAVI! FUCK U!

  • dis my jam

  • U have the truth, since 0:28 I felt like a peach (neck and arms), but when 0:52 cut appeared, I felt like a Hedgehog. Good memories, really

  • When i was watching 0:28 - 0:51 i was feeling sad and hopeless but then @ 0:52 i actually felt the hairs on my neck standing , Link is my hero :D

  • Wind Waker in HD !

    /watch?v=hzLx2bpUfsg

  • i like the zelda games on the ds and thay are so fun is this game like the ds zelda games? plz tell me

  • @skcheese64 Well, WW has Toon Link. And the DS games take place after WW, so I'm guessing you'll like it.

  • @evilpolarbear7 ow cool i am of to buy it now

  • @skcheese64 if you don't like it...your not human!!! It's my ultimate favorite game of ALL TIME! Seriously everything about it is just awesome! Even the all the songs in it are epic!

  • Someone made a BEN Drowned version of this. Apparently, they didn't see Astartus's theory on Within Hubris.

  • @evilpolarbear7 A what....?

  • Best part At 00.52. We must fight the evil of this land!

  • Listening to the opening pipes, I felt like I was pledging myself to save the land. I've never been so committed to anything as I was at 00:52

    *salutes nintendo's musical branch*

  • this brought back sooo many memories...

  • Couldn't Zelda just go back in time and get link again?

  • @super97049

Depends. Maybe by the time Ganondorf came back in the adult timeline, that Zelda had long passed away. Even if Ganon came back while she was still around, who's to say she could travel back and no where Link even is? Link DID after all go on a quest to find Navi and vanished off the face of Hyrule.

  • @metaXzero

    know

  • @BTR500 But after defeat Majora, Link back to Hyrule.

  • @MetalCris92 true. but it was on the child side of the timeline. wind waker takes place centuries after oot on the adult side of the timeline. so after ocarina of time, there was no hero of time on the adult side of the timeline.

  • But.. Why the Hero of Time didn't come back?

  • @MetalCris92 it was because he embarked on another journey. here's how it is. after oot, it splits into two separate timelines. on the child side of the timeline, majora's mask took place after oot since it was a sequel. and since wind waker was on the adult side of the timeline taking place centuries after oot, there was no hero of time. the hero of time was looking for navi in majora's mask and then had to save termina.

  • OHMYGAWD THIS MAKES ME WANNA CRY!!!

  • 0:52 is the best part

  • And this is why you can't thrust on the one man army and need to do stuff by yourself...

  • This was my first Zelda game! In fact, we had to make kites in geometry and we all put eyes on them to freak out the other class. Mine ended up being a copy of the scene from this intro with ganon's eyes glaring down at the burning houses! I won creepiest kite design!!!!

  • The BEST video game intro EVERRRRRR!!!!!!!

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS SONG PLEASE TELL AND I WI LOVE THY FOREVER

  • @RabbidSnail Its called the Legend of the Hero Theme. On WindWaker.

  • Fucking goosebumps..

  • 0:52 SO EPIC

  • Remember when you were a kid and put the gold cartridge of The Legend Of Zelda in the Nintendo and heard the music for the first time?

  • I hate you, 240p ¬¬

    BTW I love this game

  • @xXxMySweetChannelxXx please understand, it was 2006 man ;P

just 480p was beyond youtube back then... even widescreen was beyond youtube back then

I might reupload lots of videos, go back and upload new ones and maybe do some LPs when WiiU + other's NextGen come out to the market, I'll be a university free man next year .

  • @JEN4RO I understand :D but I'm looking for better quality videos. I'm sorry if I was rude.

  • It Makes me Cry... SO EPIC!

  • Scroll Translation Part 1- Long ago, it was said that there was a country chosen by the god's power. The people who lived in this blessed rich land were called the Hylians, and were said to be able to hear the voices of the gods.

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart Scroll Translation Part 2- They, together with the people of the plains, the people of the mountains, the Gorons, the people of the water the, Zora, the people of the desert, the Gerudo, and the people of the forest, the Kokiri, all carried out unique lives. Even in this rich land, the footsteps of destruction began to creep in.

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart Scroll Translation Part 3- The Evil One seized the power of the gods, and wrapped this land in evil, and the once beautiful land fell into ruin. It was at that time when it happened.

A being clad in green appeared out of nowhere, and, granted with the power of the gods, defeated the evil power at the end of a furious struggle. Peace had been returned to the land.

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart Scroll Translation Part 4- It is said, having appeared by crossing time this person was called the Hero of Time, and became a legend in the kingdom. A time later, the kingdom that had been thought to have had its peace returned, again, had dark clouds standing over it. The one who held the evil power, who had been thought to have been sealed forever by the efforts of the hero, revived with no reason.

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart Scroll Translation Part 5- Though the people waited eagerly for the hero of the Legend to once again appear, the hero had put the country behind him, and journeyed into the flows of time, and never appeared. With no one to protect them, evil began to draw near even the royal palace. The people, finally entrusted the fates of the entire land into the hands of the gods.

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart Scroll Translation Part 6- Many years have passed since then, and the people who heard the words of this tale began to imitate the hero of legend, and are said to make a boy green clothes to wear as a celebration of his growth.

"You who wear the green clothes. Take up the sword that emits light, and erase the malice in this world." They are entrusted with the hopes that they will someday be raised into becoming fine people, that even the legendary hero would be proud of."

  • @MaxDeathKnighT yeah,more detail :)

  • Wind Waker officially has the best sound track of all Zelda games. In my opinion anyway

  • I Play this game again and I am doing a walkthrough...

    Check my channel !

  • Theres no official zelda timeline so you fags shut the fuck up, damn it fanboys get so sensitive when someone say sonething about their games

  • I'm literally dancing to this

  • so, is the ganondorf in the wind waker the same ganondorf from ocarina of time? at first i thought not since they look quite different, but is it just a coincidence that theres another villian who carries the same characteristics AND the same name? :S

  • Comment removed

  • @MasterOnion100 Yes, windwaker takes place in the ADULT timeline. In the adult timeline everything that happened in Ocarina of time, Link to the past, and both oracles are known in windwaker and everything that happened Phantom hourglass and LA are known in spirit tracks. So far spirit tracks is the latest game in the Adult story line and AOL is the latest in the CHILD storyline and the New Skyward sword game is not known in any of the the current games because it takes place before OOT.

  • violin part is awesome!!

  • Wow this and Skywards Sword are the best Intro's YET!!!!

  • @LordrockmanReturns skyward sword intro didnt convince that much to be honest!

  • Comment removed

  • I get chills every time Link's theme plays.

  • I love this song. And this story.

    Link ftw!

  • Remember when you were a kid and you heard the sound of this flute for the first time

  • @kjurko1 That brings back SO MANY FRICKIN MEMORIESSS!!!!

  • 0:51 always gives me the chills! My favorite Zelda game that I have the fondest memories of, since I played it just on the verge of childhood into adolescence.

Simply wonderful game packed with love!

  • I honestly thought that his disappearance was due to Link's Awakening my first time playing this.

  • see Navi you killed the hero of time because he was caring enough to look for you and probably got lost in the lost woods and turn to a skull kid I HATE YOU NAVI-hero of time last words

  • I am assuming at 2:09 it is referring to the events of majoras mask as the reason for him not being there.

  • The music in this is just so amazing and it is one of the factors that makes this game legendary

  • Comment removed

  • i just played it.... and now i want to again!

  • One of the most epic melodies of all Zelda games. Why don't they put it in new Zelda games, too...? <.<

  • last2sec?3:35

  • 0:52

words cannot express the beauty of that theme.

  • @ThePokeDawg Gives me goosebumps every time.

  • Is this the normal or alternate intro?

  • @kyubisora123 normal.

  • this part alwasy pissed the shit out of me.

  • I've been trying to finish this game my whole life and just recently got up to puppet ganon after a lengthy time away from my beloved gamecube.

  • Does anyone else think that at 1:37 Ganon's arm looks like a dick?

  • @kirbykiller4 Way to ruin a great picture. ._. Now if soemone sees this comment thast all there gona see when it gets to the part... REAL NICE.

  • @FallenGuardianRain trololol~

  • ONLY LINK CAN DEFEAT, GANON.

  • @Conkerdeath GREAT! I'LL GRAB MY STUFF!

  • Thank you. I forgot how cool this is.

  • This game is EPIC.

  • I think after link returned to hyrule the moon had appeares in hyrule and crashing into it breaking the seal on ganondorf releasing him

  • 0:52 a young boy clothed in green

  • "The people believed that the Hero of Time would again come to save them...

...But the Hero did not appear."

Wind Waker is such a cartoony-looking, colourful game... with an extremely dark beginning.

  • This music makes me really turned on. Is that normal?

  • @MegaProtactinium totaly...

  • LEGENDARY!

  • keep in mind that is a time line for hyrule not really for which link is where, I don't think that really matters, as I said before I think most of the links are reincarnaits of the hero of time's spirit a.k.a Link.

  • @DMxDarkmatterx4e Actually Link is a pre-destined hero chosen by the Goddesses. Not a reincarnation.

  • The way I see it, and its just the way I see it (keep that in mind). LoZ>LoZ(link's adventure I think its called)>LoZ(Twilight princese)>LoZ(A link to the past)>LoZ(OoT)>LoZ(MM)>LoZ(WW) I think link is only the same link in 4 games LoZ>LoZ(link's adventure) & LoZ(OoT)>LoZ(MM). I assume that given his very name link (or the hero of time's spirit) Is reborn over and over to battle ganon(The man of great evil) Link finally was born again in WW's story. I didnt add any portible games into time line

  • Who wants to play the game again? :)

  • @Francokid10 I want to fuck this game again, because I love zelda, it´s my childhood :DD hehe...

  • @Francokid10 I play it now ;)

  • @AntherniZ They look different because the OoA/OoS games were designed differently. What a weak argument. Tell me this, where do you place them?

  • Ok wait so which link was in the intro? Was it OoT link? or maybe SS?

  • why call it legend of zelda if the story is all about link

  • @MonoLuis04 ive been asking myself the same question for years.

  • @MonoLuis04 Originality?

  • @GrubRising13 doesnt the legend of link sound good to u

  • @MonoLuis04 Umm no, not at all.

  • @GrubRising13 really LoL

  • @MonoLuis04 Its my opinion...

  • @GrubRising13 ok i dont mind we all got different opinions

  • Lol smosh

  • I began playing this game about 4 years ago, when I was 12<3 it rained non-stop during that whole summer so i didn't go out but thanks to Zelda, it is still a summer to remember... this game will always be one of the best video game i've ever played... much thanks to the epic music :)

  • 0:51 Absolutley love this part, to bad its inacurate :(

  • first*

  • ...

Takashi Tezuka and Shigeru Miyamoto have told fans that the spilt timeline theory is wrong and that each game gets a new link, this dissapoints me as i think that the theory would have added even more depth to each story... but i have accepted that it is incorrect and will continue playing my fav series...

and anyone who does believe the theory, thats fine but im afraid i cant argue with the guys that made the game in the firts place!

  • the dude that made loz, has stated many times that their is a 'new' link in each game

  • @williammckane Well he's contradicting himself. The child Link in OOT is the same Link in Majora's Mask. The Link from Wind Waker is the same Link in Phantom Hourglass. The Link in the original LoZ is the same Link in Zelda 2: AoL. The Link in OOA/OOS is the same Link in Link's Awakening (IF you believe LA takes place after those games because of the boat).

  • @CyberIce2000

Link's awakening was a complete side-story which is plotted around the beginning of the timeline. Phantom hourglass is placed a few monthes or a year after Wind Waker; It's the SAME Link. Spirit tracks is like 100 years after PH. OOA and OOS are also side ones which take place a little after A Link to the Past. Since a Link to the Past is after the first 2 zelda games(that were created) but OOA/OOS is based after Links awakening through events, gameplay, and bosses.

  • @FireEmblem3 I don't understand why your telling me this?

  • @CyberIce2000

    Correcting you.

  • @FireEmblem3 Correcting me? I made myself perfectly clear. You told me the Link in Phantom Hourglass is the same Link in PH, which is what I said so why are you telling me it's the SAME Link? I never said anything about Spirit Tracks because I know that Link is not the same Link but yet you brought it up pointlessly. The rest well, doesn't make allot of sense on your part and had nothing to do with my comment and point which was pointing out that some of the games do contain the SAME Link.

  • @CyberIce2000

The only games that share Links are The first 2(ever made), OOA/OOS(both are like the same game since they were made as a pair to be played in seperate then combine to fight Ganon). also, Wind Waker and PH share the same Link. Other then that no Link is shared. I was contradicting you when u said OOA and OOS had the same Link in them; when in reality Link's awakening is near the beginning of the timeline; while OOA/OOS are middle-to-end of it. That's what i was correcting.

  • @FireEmblem3 "The only games that share Links are The first 2(ever made)". LoZ and Zelda 2 right? Which is what I said. "Wind Waker and PH share the same Link". Which is what I also said. "Other then that no Link is shared". Dude, the Link in OOT is the same Link in Majora's Mask! It's been proven and everyone knows they are the same! Where are you getting this information that they are not the same? "OoT Link is the same as MM as the same time it's not". That does not make sense. Anyone agree?

  • @CyberIce2000

If they were the same. This turn of events wouldn't've happened. Since he consistently time traveled it created 2 seperate timelines. One where the MM Link basically fixes everything and that's it. The other where there is no hero and everything goes wrong so they drown Hyrule to fix the problem.

  • @CyberIce2000 i totaly agree man but i dont know better than the dudes that made the actual game in the first place

  • @CyberIce2000 I tgink that the Link from LA is the Link from A Link to the Past.

  • @CyberIce2000 Which one was OOS? :/

  • @CyberIce2000 And if you believe that the Link in OOA/OOS is the same as the one in LA, then you must also believe that the Link in those two games is the same one from ALTTP, since LA takes place after ALTTP.

  • @roguesquadron521 I do believe that.

  • @CyberIce2000 Well, thats your theory, nothing is certain within the zelda universe.

  • @CyberIce2000 thats not true links awakening takes place right after link to the past.

  • @AlastorShadow0 Right but my theory is that the oracle games take place between ALttP and LA. So it's ALttP/Oracle games/LA.

  • @williammckane But thats litteraly impossible, I'm sure you've already heard this, but OoT link is the same link from MM, theres no way to say he's not, its been proven that he is.

  • @TheJplay22

No that's the Link in the MIDDLE of OoT. It happens AFTER the childhood years but BEFORE the Adult Link's era. Zelda sent Link back to enjoy his childhood. That childhood is Majora's Mask. But due to the adult link's absence in that timeline; Ganon got to take over again and everything was flooded since the "hero of time" was technically gone. As if 2 times are existing at once yet there's only one hero. Which is the only plausible explanation at this point.

  • @FireEmblem3 So are you saying its not the same link?

  • @TheJplay22

It is at the same time it's not. OoT Link is the same as MM as the same time it's not. It's like a time paradox cause the hero of time can only exist in one time. So when The OoT Adult Link vanished and Ganon returned there was no Hero to fight him again since that Link was now in MM. Therefore the entire land was sunk.

  • iv been reading some comments and I want to share some loz facts...

  • Epic, oot is my childgood game

  • Goosebumps <3

  • 23 people are Ganon

  • 22 people tried to see a god of war video and found this one :D

  • I hope someday they make a game that continue's the Hero Of Time's Life, Like After the events of Majoras mask he grows up and is a man :')

  • @sovrcat oh yes, I forgot. People say it's been disproven, but there's never been an official word on what really happened. So it's also likely.

Either way, it's confusing and nintendo should've been more clear.

  • But the hero did not appear...

  • idk why but i remember this sounding like stairway lol

  • this music... it says he tried a million times. failure... is not an option.

  • ....when i read this legend i alwaays wondered, What happened to Link after he saved Hyrule? i knoow about Major'as mask, but maybe according to THIS legend, he passed away after some time? somebody help me out? /:

  • @sonicaddict56 Nobody knows for sure (not even nintendo.) After Link defeated Ganon, Zelda sent him back in time. This split the series timeline into two parts. One timeline where link defeated ganon and dissapeared, and the other timeline where link went to termina as a child.

Windwaker happens on the timeline where link killed ganon. And twilight princess happens on the other.

The last thing we know about the hero of time is that he left termina searching for Navi.

  • @BlatentIgn0rance But in Wind Waker, The King of Lions said that The hero of time left hyrule, and when he did he lost the qualities of being a hero? idk what he exactly said. /:

  • @sonicaddict56 I remember that. I guess when the hero of time was sent back in time by zelda, the triforce of courage got divided. Something about it seems fishy though.

  • @BlatentIgn0rance how do u know that Twiligt Princess happens on the MM timeline?

  • @sonicaddict56 Because Ganon is executed (well they tried lol) by the sages halfway through TP. This not only contradicts wind waker, but also what Link did as an adult in OoT.

  • @BlatentIgn0rance LOL ooh....i'm confused..WAIT iknoow Skyward sword is coming out, and i heard th master sword wasn't even created yet in that game. is that true?

  • @sonicaddict56 Explaining it I was also slightly confused lol, it's hard to understand. .

I'm pretty sure that's true. It's the earliest game in the timeline apparently

  • Best Zelda ever!

  • rock on nintendo!

  • Is the intro about Link in the Ocarina of Time?

  • @96music4eva Yes man :) link from ocarina of time is the HERO OF TIME! That´s pretty epic, right?

  • @96music4eva Yes

  • wow! when you finish playing a zelda game you feel like a hero yourself!

  • This game is awesome! Thankfully, I saved this from my old gamecube and the Wii can play it! Ahh. This song and legend/ story gives me goosebumps and I dont know anyone who doesnt hum along to the music!

  • i know! i have the tune stuck in my head!

  • i know! i have the tune stuck in my head! it gives me goose bumps too!

  • Damn, i remember the very first time i played this.... I had just gotten my gamecube, i had no games, and probably wouldn't get any for a few months (my parents are anti-gaming nazies).... I rented this game, and couldn't wait to play it... I boot it up... And then... This music.... This intro.... All i can say is: I will never forget my very first nerdgasm!

And... I never got the people who bash this game and say it's not as good as ocarina... C'mon, this blows ocarina out of the water!

  • i heard they found these scrolls in a cave in the a little island of the southern pacific....

  • Wielding the blade of Evil's Bane, he sealed the Dark One away and gave the land Light.

  • This is my absolute favorite intro

  • how can somebody dislike this?!?!?! even ganondorf would like it...

  • this is epic... this is SO epic... i think i'm about to cry!!!!!!

  • if only it didn't have all those back and forths in that big damn water world! that's really my only complaint, otherwise it's an amazing game!

  • I remember when I was 6 and watching my brother play the game and being scared of some of the creatures. I love those little memeries you remember. Zelda can never grow to old for anybody.

  • woah, old memories :D youtube doe srly need an epic buttom -_-

  • @gangstermario yeah the hero of time is the link from OoT

  • I've started a full 1080p playthrough of the Wind Waker on my channel if anyones interested, i can't believe after all these years i still love playing the game haha :)

  • @KaMakaZeDaN17 it's the kind of game that you play, you have fun. then you get tired of it..... until you find it back and can't wait to play it again, and then for ever :p

  • who is the hero of time? is it link from ocarina of time?

  • THIS IS MY FAVORITE FUCKING VIDEO GAME THEME SONG

I REMEMBER "LA LALA"ing along when I first popped in this game and started playing :'D

  • Quiet as fuck

  • GODLY.

  • "...but the hero did not appear."

Did anyone elses mouth drop when they saw that?

  • best ever

  • Legendary, simply legendary! This is one of the great themen that will never die. You will know a good themen when you played a game at the age of 12 and still can hum the whole melody.
