OMG, you brought back memories from when I had my endometriosis! I can honestly still feel what the pain was like. It ruined so many family plans.
My OBGYN wanted to do a hysterectomy after they confirmed it was so bad that was all that could be done. I wasn't ready, and waited a few more years. By then, it was a huge mass that they thought could have been cancer.
I had a complete hysterectomy when I was 30, I'm 47 now.
yay, i heart my fabric pads, though i throw them in what ever i am washing in our washing machine, as long as i use oxy-clean i am good.
watched this while waiting for a 2nd demerol to kick in so i can TRY to vacume and do dishes, though today is my MAD pain day... though this encouraged me.
Yes! I use oxy-clean, too! I'm glad to have encouraged you. That's what it's all about. We've got to stick together cuz no one else understands like we do.
You're welcome! Regarding the Wonder Wash - I always let the pads soak in mild detergent and oxy-clean for a day or more before draining, re-adding detergent, putting the lid on and agitating the washer. Then it's just two minutes to clean, with no staining! Putting pads in a regular washing machine just doesn't do it, and sets the stain. Eww. Although spin cycle and a regular dryer would help because wringing out pads when in pain...not fun.

If you have it, don't live in pain, do something!

You're welcome and thanks! Seriously, for us, it merits a pat on the back or a gift to ourselves when we are able to get housework done!
