  • Wow..... I'm speachless

  • Sounds like heaven to me

  • @michellehill94 It is heaven :)

  • In E flat major if anyone is wondering.

  • oh my it is so so beautiful, makes me see and understand the living light of god's kingdom is here on earth. i am not especially religious but i feel this so deeply.

  • Unbelievable!! Thanks so much for postng this. I would never in my life imagine such thing is possible....This world is total, total miracle!...May be this is a sound of Angels singing at the God's throne in heaven?...

  • To anyone who thinks this isn't an honest recording (and I see some in the comments): I tried this myself by tampering with the speed of a regular audio recording of crickets. At the right speeds, you can hear some harmonious and definite pitches being produced (though I don't know by what factor the originators of this clip slowed down their crickets). If you had a great recording of them and knew how to filter out the unimportant frequencies, this is entirely possible. Beautiful sounds, thanks

  • Love this. Seriously amazing. Miraculous even. Beautiful either way you look at it.

  • Beautiful, much gratitude,

    Om mani padme hung.

  • heaven on earth?

  • This is just wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • Awwwwwww! I mean this video needs to really be featured :):):)

....this are amazingly orchestrated beloved sounds ,indeed. Still can't believe this, wonder. whoooa !!!

....I never new this, ....sounds are indeed very healing , ohhh :) ...gonna play this very often.

  • C'mon, now. That's the choir at St. Theresa's Cathedral in Madrid.

  • Nature can be magical, yet cruel...If only the cruel part could be removed-it will all be just a magical choir of everything together-instead of apart.

Respect life...From the smallest to the largest-we are ALL here together eventually...the sooner the world realize that, the sooner heaven could be created.

  • I think some of the images you have are of grasshoppers not crickets

  • Thank you! How amazing, I listened to the crickets all summer. Was the first time since my childhood I could hear them. Thank you again, what a treasure.

  • Wonderful ,, This instaantly brought me a sense of calm and joy Thanks

  • SHUT UP! OMG That is the most amazing thing I have ever heard. That will make you think twice next time you decide to step on a cricket. What a wonderful way to communicate just how precious ALL life is. THANK YOU!! Namaste!

  • Awesome thank you for sharing

  • Its a wonderful thought , but , I don't find this very believable. The internet is full of made up stuff, and I fear this is one of those items. Snopes.com doesnt have anything about it.

  • @tlawford This was recorded before we had the internet

  • crickets singing a lullaby to mother earth after a hard days work? it is so beautiful, thank you so much for posting this!!

  • That's fascinating.

  • So beautiful. Listening to this, it makes you realize that all the petty labels and barriers we erect in our minds, they don't matter - right now, we are hearing the music of the sacred and the divine, and as one it resonates in our hearts. What joy!

May the Great Mother grace us all with awareness of the majesty that surrounds us more fully with each passing day. Blessed be!

  • wonderful!

  • Would like to hear it without the normal crickets

  • does anyone know if the slowed down track has been.transcribed/musically notated?

  • My friend, Ellen Hart, just told me about this amazing recording....check it out!

  • Liked that one, saw it a couple weeks ago, awesome, thanks for sharing that.

  • Another of gods symphonies is heard as winds and waters roar in the key of f...natures key

  • Wondrous overtones

  • I´m afraid it´s not true... I spent some time surfing the net and found quite a few responses from people who slowed down crickets chirps and said it doesn´t sound at all like the ´angelic choire´.

  • So beautiful. Magical. Wondrous. This must be what angels sounds like. Thank you.

  • What location(s) are these beautiful photos from? I want to go there!

  • This is our Divinity singing to us, reminding us of ow much we are all LOVED by our Creator....truly this is heaven on earth....thank you for sharing this!

  • To those who have never heard the Celestial music of the Universe: this is very close to that Symphony. My gratitude goes to Frederic DeLaRue and all the technologic advancements made by others for making it possible to listen to it without having to go into a deep meditation to hear it.

May you be forever blessed, Fred, for making it available, May those who recorded and produced it also be forever blessed for doing so and may those who hear it also be forever blessed in the listening of it.

  • And i thought I liked cricket sounds before! This is amazing!

  • OMGess this IS a heavenly angelic choir! People this proves HEAVEN is right here and now on the earth !!!!

We do hear this on some level but arent aware of it. Thanks technology for helping our ears to hear ALLTHAT IS!!!! Perhaps we should respect the winged one, critters, crickets, all life forms!!! Ues Jiminy Cricket singing "When U wish Upon a Star" all the evidence and messages are right here right now in our faces!!! BTW the Star is the Tarot Trump # 17.

  • I really, REALLY want to believe this is true...but I've been messing around with cricket recordings for a few hours now, trying to get the time right, and it never sounds anything remotely like this. any advice?

  • Wow...That's amazing!!!! So beautiful!

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • That's why it's so natural that Timmy the cricket sings "When you wish upon a star" and touches our hearts so deeply doing so. What can I say... we are all one! ♥

  • So sweet, so harmonious. Thank you. It got me present to question what other sounds of God right before us..we miss. Im amazed it opened my heart and brought tears to my eyes the moment I heard it... It has stayed with me the last fee days and truly impacted my life... amazing!!

  • All lifeforms are fully capable of singing heavenly praises within Godverse.

  • HAY! That would be interesting to try to mimic their song, re-sing it and speed it up to cricket speed:) might actually establish communication... who knows?

  • Incredible ♥♥

  • Even we are part of a greater harmony beyond our understanding...

  • Is this real???

  • Little Angel Voices!

  • This is what the crickets sound like to themselves. Peace- Paul

  • St. Francis would love this.

  • This is so cool. I knew crickets could make music, but wow! Very nice.

  • wow!~!

  • soso beautiful.....Le tus ALL be in harmony like this...I pray..

  • This gave me goose bumps and put tears in my eyes, yes, everything in nature lives in harmony! Thank you for this.

  • @vidyanityam I agree with you ♥

  • So what is it? Is this really crickets with a harmony of human voices done by the Native American band "Little Wolf Band" or is it really as they allege, crickets with harmony of slowed down crickets?

  • We are all fractals of the world soul!

  • Thank you so much. I cannot tell you how this has touched me :-)

  • Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Angelic. Divine.

  • Thank you for this... I heard it many, many years ago and have wondered how to find it again. So beautiful and profound. I have shared the message of this amazing experience with many others through the years. Blessings & Gratitude,

    Kyra Baehr

  • @KyraBaehr Thank you ;)

  • @KyraBaehr As you listen to this unique recording....realize that the present state of quantum mechanics and superstring/brane theory has revealed that the frequency distribution of the strings that make up the 6 quarks that make up ALL the subatomic particles of atoms reflect the same ratios as the diatonic music scale!

  • Then how about speeding up or slowing down a human's vibration to find out that melody/harmony?

  • divine, fantastic, sounds like heaven

  • This makes me think of what an angle must sound like ~~~~ beautiful ---

  • Merci Frédéric. C'est un régal pour l'âme.

  • Kinda sound like something we'd hear in an old Disney movie :)

  • How do you ascertain "human speed?" Also, perhaps it is the other way around and humans sing like crickets... Very soothing sounds at both speeds.

  • The angelic chorus you hear accompanying the sound of the crickets is NOT a synthesizer or a chorus singing. It's the crickets themselves (slowed down) creating the effect. Really an amazing thing they've accomplished here.

This recording is an extended digitally remixed and mastered version taken from the original1992 recording entitled "Ballad of the Twisted Hair" from the album "Medicine Songs" by David Carson and Little Wolf Band produced by Jim Wilson and released on Raven Records.

  • @fredericdelarue Sorry about the thumb down. My PC is slow to react, and it opened to the thumb after I had already clicked on something else.

  • To All, thank you for watching this video that I just wanted to share mostly for my friends to see. I had no idea it would attract such an interest.

To answer all the questions that some of you may have regarding whether it is real or not, here it is:

This unusual recording contains two tracks:

    1. the natural sound of crickets chirping

    2. the sound of the crickets slowed down to match and mirror the length of the average lifespan of a human being.

    see following of comment below

  • That was magnificent, very beautiful, who knew????

  • As a classical musician, this is amazing. Very intriquing. Julie

  • magnificent, thank you for this beautiful trip!! one thing's for sure.. I'll meditate with this sound!! all creatures know the Truth and we'd better allow them to show us the way to Peace =]

  • Very enlightening and makes you think... Thank you.

  • Wow that's so cool!!!

  • I'm confused about this posting, since it really does feature music from Little Wolf Band, as stated below. Yes, the crickets sound like crickets, but the ethereal music is not generated by the crickets, but by the Native American artist. This sounds lovely together, but I wouldn't want to misrepresent the post or not give authentic credit where it is deserved...

  • @darkeyesshining The original poster mentions the album and the artists who created that album. Both Jim Wilson and David Carson were later involved with Little Wolf Band (as was Robbie Robertson) so it's not surprising that the earlier sounds are reproduced. I don't know if it's really the sound of crickets (it wouldn't be the first time someone took sounds from nature and then tweaked them to make music as we recognize it) but there's hardly been any misrepresentation of who the artists are.

  • So help please:

I found the same melody here Im just wondering who is the reeal author and is then the cricket story veryfiable with the person who had the concept and made the recording to then make music with it.

Sorry I cannot post the link here (youtube does not allow it)

    So please

    look for:

    Amazon store.

Dream Song ~ Little Wolf Band (July 4, 1995)

the title of the melody is: Twisted Hair.

its the last one of 11 tracks.

  • it really is the universe. uni verse:) one song! how did we fergot?

  • Exquisite! Especially loved the questions at the end. Imagine what they do for the planet!!! Bless you. <3<3<3

  • This is so beautiful...Thank You!

Crickets have taught me to never be discouraged when I fall or stumble...

Ever notice how crickets almost always wipe out when they jump?

  • @kelphorn Yeah, its amazing : ). What do you mean wipe out?

  • @DjHyphie They never land on their feet! They crash almost every time! haha! They'll jump so far...

  • SUPER!!!

  • nice photo's!!

  • nice photo's!!

  • simply Wow!

  • THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • I recognize the normal cricket choir but there is something else in the background...

like more of a angelic choir lol, so crickets do that? :O

  • love and joy .... the song of our beloved ....MOTHER EARTH....and the birds ....ty ty ty ....much love S

  • SFERA MUSIC

  • This may not be true but I like it anyway

  • Angelic

  • This is wonderful sharing Frederic. Many species also sing - some sing for rain and some sing to entertain. Thank you.

  • Outstanding. There is a Divine Source...

  • Did you know that if you speed up whale song, it sounds like birds singing?

  • This is a beautiful video-I love crickets too but those are human voices added to the soundtrack of crickets- Why try to fool the people? Crickets are a divine gift but they do not sing!!!

  • @laradu7 I recant my original response to this post. I now agree with you. I took multiple recordings of crickets and slowed them down to all sorts of speeds. They sound nothing like this at all. If I slow them down to almost sub audible and then raise the pitch they come kinda sorta similar with enough imagination.

Logic comes into play when you realize that slowing down chirps makes ons and offs as apposed to smooth choruses. I gotta say this video is prolly not what it claims to be.

  • Soooo beautiful and relaxing!!! Thank you so much for sharing such a beauty!!!

  • amazing!

  • Now we need to get people to sing this, and speed it up to cricket speed. I also want to hear other fast beings, like humingbirds, at human speed.

  • @freedomisrising Yep! I am sure we could learn a lot!!!

  • @freedomisrising YOU can actually do this yourself when you Overtone (chanting) you create the same sound under the drone of the note you are chanting, check out jill purce's work its the same sound.

  • Thank you Frederic, I have this music in my collection it was given to me about 8 years ago and I just love it. I love what you have done with this music of the Crickets with your beautiful country side in France you must be very proud of all the beauty that you have . Its just wonderful. Joy Mills Australia.

  • Another example of a perfect nature. Everything lives in harmony ...except the human!

  • @the7thproductions

Whats sucks is because of human, we've forced everything to be out of sync and out of harmony.

  • Beautiful angelic voices of crickets <3
