I don't care what anyone says. This is the true canon ending and it's not just their color palettes that compliments each other. Their connection with Mattias and the burden that the both of them will now have to carry together. There's a sense of maturity in their relationship that is very telling in their conversations, it feels a lot more natural and not forced like Althea and her "love magic" shenanigans. There's trust there and their incantation doesn't sound corny either. Frozen Void!!!

Not to spoil anything, but at the part where Althea stabs herself, and Roland makes the final bond with her, comes back to life and Althea is then safe from turning into a fiend, does that happen with Fatima too? Like if you've answered all Fatima's questions right, and is going to have the Fatima ending, does Fatima stab herself instead of Althea or does it play out differently at that part?

@JusticeLakeCP no. althea is either still a fiend, or going to turn back into one after the party beats her(i forget which). fatima sends her mind into althea to suppress the fiend. roland's love is able to pull fatima back and they make the final bond

you have to get best break(full heart) for bonus features. Try to get Fatima ending, always choose the top choice when there is pre-battle conversation. I dont think you have to get 100%, well in fact i never got 100%. I had 99% but i couldnt get 100%

There is an Althea ending too.

Althea is the easy choice.

Real players with taste go for the hard ending and requirements and do not settle with the given annoying girl.
