Hi Jackie! have you ever used your own eyeliner brush to apply MAC liquidlast? I use liquidlast too and had the same problem with the eyeliner sticking to my lashes, but if you use your own brush you get a better control of the amount of product you pick up and I never had that problem again :D
I also have very oily lids and tried the urban decay waterproof liquid eyeliner and found that it didnt smudge but that it tended to have a "cracked" look and wasnt a smooth line does this happen with either the milani or mac eyeliner????
i bought my first MAC eyeliner. Usually i always used drugstore.. But it smear a lot. The Milani is right stand on eyes but it's not that black . Thanks to you i finally can wear really waterproof eyeliner without worry.. Thanks Jacky!
Omg I have the same exact problem with my eyes because I have really oily eyelids and I have monolids as well. The only liquid I've been using is the Mac Liquid Last Eyeliner and I love it but since you've mentioned this one, I think I will try it:) great video!!!
Hi jackie! I'm wondering whether you went swimming with the milani eyeliner on because I want to know if milani eyeliner has some sort of waterproof staying power to it like the mac one. Thanks!
I was wondering could you make a video on how you 'clean' your eye liner? Such as, if you messed up (as you mentioned in the video, the wing), how do you come about to fixing it and cleaning it?
Thanks for this video! I am a monolid, (with that thick layer of skin over my eyes), so my eyes are tiny, so yes I totally agree, for decades I've stayed away from "Drugstore" makeup, because nothing would stay on my eyes, and only bought department store brands. I will head out and look for this "Milani" brand. <;0) Cool, this will save me $.
Finally someones giving my 4 year crush some credit!!! Unfortunately i got sick of having to buy a new one every 1-2 months. It would dry up and get really gloppy and catch on my eyelashes and make me look like i had two eyelashes.. And it obviously doesnt come off so.... Not pretty! I tried the maybelline ultra liner after and its been PERFECT. It stays all day like the milani, ( i touch my eyes, ive cried, its been fine!) and its not thick and gloopy like the milani crap :/
Hey your so pretty hun and I were eyeliner everyday so thanx for your input :) just wondering if anyone has checked out AUDFACED here on you tube...she's so unique and fun to watch!
for me the milani did last all day when i first started using it but after a while idono if its my skin or something it began to smudge a bit since i connect my bottom liner to my wing and same with the mac liquid blast D: *sigh
I don't know about you, but I find the Mac hard to use. I love the product, I have the same oily eyes, but I do have a really small double eyelid so if I ever forget to wait for the mac liner to dry before I blink, it gets all over my top lid and it's hard to fix -.- maybe I'll give the Milani a try. And plus, Mac liquidlast is discontinued :(
I think u should try the wet and wild h2o proof its amamzing for people with our eye lids! I wish u would try this. And I hope u read this. Ohmy god its also only 1.99$ also
Can you do a tutorial using the Milani Liner? I always seem to get product on my lashes when I'm lining my lid.. -___- And I can't really do a wing using it either, pretty difficult.
i had the milani infinite liner before and i really liked it, but it started like getting clumpy and it became a really rubbery formula! it's hard to explain, but i wasn't too pleased after that. now i use milani liner tec (i think that's what its called....i have no idea but its a tiny golden pen) and its SUPER easy to use and once you set it with a black eye shadow on top, it doesn't budge whatsoever and i have the oiliest eyelids ever! coming from a fellow monolid, that is.
Have you tried the K-Palette 24hr tattoo eye liner from Japan? It's a very interesting liquid eyeliner because it will never smudge due to the ingredients. Love your reviews! So nice of you to share your thorough thoughts of every aspect after experience!
How can you work out for an hour and a half? I've recently started track and cross-country running again after I saw your video but I find I just can't run for more than 20/30 minutes max... how often do you go to the gym? Thank you!
Jackie, I love how smart you are when you review things like this. You go at it in a businesslike way, and it's very cool because you hit every thing that people may ask and you go about it in a non-biased way. You're awesome :) lol and now I wanna try both those eyeliners.
How do you remove the MAC liquidlast eyeliner? I have one but I stopped using it after using once because I tried removing it with makeup remover, makeup remover wipes, eyemakeup remover and washing my face with cleanser, removing it with toner and moisturizer but I can't get it off completely. My eyes get so sore from all the cleansing that I stopped using it which is a waste. :(
@annsleyw haha a good eye makeup remover! A bilevel one, neutrogena and lancome make great ones ^^ So does shiseido :D andd....sonia kashuk? I heard that one's good as well. Or you can always use olive oil haha :)
@annsleyw Try an oil-base makeup remover like the Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover. If that's too expensive, you can always try the Sonia Kashuk's Eye Makeup Remover instead. I heard they're both pretty similar, and I personally use the Sonia Kashuk one.
@aznpridebuhhd One of the removers I used was the Clinique Eye makeup remover which is oil-based. It helped remove some of the liner but didn't remove it completely. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm looking forward to using my MAC Liquidlast!
Try Canmake's Perfect black liquid liner. It's from Japan so not sure if you can get it in the US but I swear by it. No smudging once dry and stays on the whole day. My eyes are uber oily, I can't even wear eyeshadows.
@massyvang Maybe if you used liquid liner on the bottom lashes, you could kindof set it with a dark brown or black and then smudge it a little to make it fade into your inner corner. Maybe that way you can use liquid liner and hopefully it wouldn't smudge :)
MAC liquidlast is also the only liner that will stay on my oily lids. I will always use that one. But agree it gets tacky after a while which is when I buy a new one.
ohh this is something i should try lol i've been searching for a liquid liner that doesn't smudge on me here. the best one that i've ever owned was the liquid liner from palangtong, but i could only find it overseas xP it's the best since it comes off really easily when you want it to come off, otherwise it doesn't budge at all ^.^
Omg thank u! I have the same problem where my eyelids are too oily. Ive been using gosh, which has the same formula as Mac but a tad but cheaper. Glad to know there's an even cheaper alternative!
@Kukolka42 haha its not I assure you :) its because those close ups I did at night, the milani brush is bigger and picks up more product so the camera makes it look darker. Nothing is darker than the MAC one haha
kat von d has been GREAT for me. it doesn't last as long though :/ also do NOT get the physicians formula eye booster eye liner, it does have a lot of product in it.
@xoxkaye yes I do and no I havent haha but it doesnt SEEM waterproof to me? Mainly because most of the pen/fountain style liners i've ever tried are awful :x im not super impressed by most dollywink products. But i've never tried the liner, only their awful lash glue haha
@MszJackieChu Thanks! Just watched the video :) I am a bit hesitant in trying the eyeliner only because it doesn't seem waterproof to me either and also is quite expensive in my opinion here in Australia, but thanks nonetheless!
@HellooJackie you can use either :) btw tight lining with liquid liner (or putting it on your water line) isnt recommended, but I still put it on my waterline. I tightline with pencil liner
Try Kat Von D's tattoo liner! I found it works best on oily lids! I've never seen those with smaller lids try it, but I have huge eyes and I've been using it for about 2 years now. My favorite eyeliner!
I just bought the Milani one after EmilyNoel83 said it was the best non-smudging liquid liner at the drugstore! I'm glad you have good feedback on it too, I'm excited to try it! <3
Have you tried the hard candy "walk the line - Liquid eyeliners"? I recently brought it and it's awesome. It stays on my eyes and I have oily eyelids too. The only thing negative I'd have to say is the brush, but it's not that bad.
in my country, our drugstore didn't sell Milani, not even wetnwild and sonia kashuk as well. And some other brands like L.A Girls :( i'm a sad woman now
Aww wished u showed us the brush size comparison. I used to use wet n wild H20 before since it was cheap and it was the only eyeliner that would stay on for EVER but I really hated how thick the brush was. Now I use Urban decay 24/7 liquid eyeliner and i LOVE IT! it is really expensive compared to the cheap wet n wild one, but oh my the brush is perfect, its so thin...and the eyeliner stays on all day long, doesnt smudge at all. Only bad this is that is $18 for 1.7ml :/ might try mac one next
Thanks Jackie :). I also have a problem with eyeliner smudging even with primer :(..oily lids ...now after watching this video, I have a new eyeliner I can test out! : )
hmm the MAC liquid last liner...I have the black track & I have oily lids too and it tends to imprint on my higher lid after 5 hours. I have to try the liquid last liner one!
@simplyxpliicitful its the best!!! no matter how many that i have gone through lol the last liner is always the best and will last up to the next day lol! get it!!
Have you tried the Japanese brand, Majolica Majorca liquid eyeliner? I have very oily eyelid too, this doesn't smudge on me as well as on many people. Maybe you would like to try out :)
@BlairBearxoxo haha any waterproof mascara doesnt smudge on me, right now im using imju's fiberwig (curl after w/ a heated lash curler) you take it off with warm water...but that gets a bit annoying I wish it'd just come off with makeup remover! haha
love your vids jackie! i think i might try this one out, i have sensitive eyes and they get bloodshot easily when i use eyeliner.. hopefully will get diff results with this one!
haha i love that liner too!! its my favorite liner...(and one that works) ever!

Now I use Urban decay 24/7 liquid eyeliner and i LOVE IT! it is really expensive compared to the cheap wet n wild one, but oh my the brush is perfect, its so thin...and the eyeliner stays on all day long, doesnt smudge at all. Only bad this is that is $18 for 1.7ml :/ might try mac one next

what do you use on your lower waterline? pencil, gel? and what brand because your eyeliner looks really good
lintsanchez 1 month ago
@lintsanchez I use the liquid liners :x its not recommended but I do it anyway x.X haha

hmm the MAC liquid last liner...I have the black track & I have oily lids too and it tends to imprint on my higher lid after 5 hours. I have to try the liquid last liner one!
simplyxpliicitful 1 month ago
@simplyxpliicitful yea, blacktrack is the color of their potted black gel liner. Gel liner will never ever have the staying power of liquid liner
MszJackieChu 1 month ago
@simplyxpliicitful its the best!!! no matter how many that i have gone through lol the last liner is always the best and will last up to the next day lol! get it!!

Have you tried the Japanese brand, Majolica Majorca liquid eyeliner? I have very oily eyelid too, this doesn't smudge on me as well as on many people. Maybe you would like to try out :)

Jackie, do you know of any mascaras that won't smudge? :) I'll be sure to check out the Milani liner! :D
BlairBearxoxo 1 month ago
@BlairBearxoxo haha any waterproof mascara doesnt smudge on me, right now im using imju's fiberwig (curl after w/ a heated lash curler) you take it off with warm water...but that gets a bit annoying I wish it'd just come off with makeup remover! haha

@BlairBearxoxo Urban Decay's Cannonball doesn't go anywhere!!!

yesss this milani liner is AMAZING. very very waterproof. doesn't smudge. it's seriously hard to remove, so use a good quality remover and be gentle!
GET THIS LINER EVERYONE. IT'S AMAZING.
the brush is kind of irritating so i use a liner brush sometimes.
