I would love to see you perform this again without a noisy audience, and post it to youtube. What a shame you don't hear much of Phil Ochs any more. Thanks for keeping his music alive.
I forgot. I saw Sonia at a Phil Ochs night in New Haven about 6-7 years ago. I didn't recognize her. There was another one recently in another city, but medical problems prevented me from going.
Phil was a poet. Everytime I hear him sing or someone doing one of his songs reminds me the time he performed at the Electric Factory in Philly wearing his gold suit doing his Elvis bit.
Thank you Albertan1956 (and everyone else) for your comments. I'm sorry you won't be able to hear her play live and I hope, through some good fortune, that you will be able to hear Laura & Sonia live someday.
Bobalinx thanks for uploading Sonia for us to listen to. Thanks especially because some of us have no hope of ever seeing her play live like this, and it was wonderful!
I have been and always be a Phil Ochs fan, and I must say that this is an awesome delivery of one of his great songs. Overflowing with soul and emotion.
Superb Job!!! Phil and Sonia both would be pleased and honored by this performance, Chris
It's a wonderful cover of a tune written by a nearly forgotten American hero. If you like this, please check out the rest of Phil Ochs' amazing body of work.

Great job, Phil would be happy. Those people should be put a cork in it and shut up.

Good cover, but I wished the people in the room would shut the hell up and listen.

Fantastic! I recently discovered this song and love it. You do justice and then some to Phil Ochs' passion and lyrics. Sing it out!

This is the best cover of this song I ever heard.
Phil wrote so many great tunes. Let's hope people like Sonia will keep his memory alive.
