well I am afraid that to each his own, I think it is a bit on the overtkill. But I think he or they are actually going for the Mad Maxx look,hey look at the new KNIGHT RIDER CAR. It is not as what I expected it to be, it is only an over primped 'stang tha's all. It would have been better if the guys at the GM plant made a Trans-Am to keep it original with the previous show :(...but oh well that is HollyWood.

I don't like Fords much, but from an artistic standpoint, it is a bit gaudy, but I think the URBAN ASSAULT theme rings through. The gunsmithing designs and pushing the GT500 scoop design to the limits is part of what SEMA is about, getting creative and pushing limits. Pushing aside my distain for Fords, I like this ride... I would not roll in it everyday, but maybe one time for the shock value. I wonder what the interior is like and how far that got pushed.

It's a great looking pony except for the ugly hood which ought to be removed and trash canned. Looks like an exaggerated Firebird ram air hood from the early 70s. Too often people overdo it with the hoods. Usually less is better.

Love it or hate it you must admit this car is different. I sure glad to see someone like Rick Evans push the envelope again. Over the pasted five to ten years all I've seen is the same old stuff and quite frankly it is boring.

In closing, I'm sure glad that the men like George Barris, Von Dutch, Big Daddy Roth and Gene Winfield to name a few never stopped to listen to the critics. They built goofy off the wall stuff that is as American as apple pie and baseball.
