Autotune is a tool that ranges from 100% to 0%. I'd put it at ~30% for this song, maybe %50 at points.

It's just a part of modern song making. Almost every single pop single uses it to some degree or another.

when a singer records a song, they put on head phones and they'll hear the instrumental + their own voice on it as they're singing, so that the singer will hear the music, but the microphone will only record the vocals so it's a lot easier to do only work on the voice. so when you only listen to the microphone version (aka the acapella) you might hear a tiny amount of music playing coz the music is usually quite loud in the headphones.
