I screwed up so bad on this level. I had opened the spell book to select traps and that and right after I selected the sword and the wind belt (I don't know why for this level) I closed the book and accidentally unleashed the horde. So I was stuck with no traps what so ever and I was on my own. Surprisingly only I think like 3 got through to the rift.

Ok, Slips 3 things: If you right click any spell you get an alternate ability. The fire bracers put up a wall of fire that kills everything. GREAT for choke points. Second, use blade walls up high to get the flyers. Once I had four up I never had to use my archers. Third, one mob WILL use the stairs. The ogre. It's a good idea to use the barricades. Love the vids btw, got be to buy the game.

this level is so straight forward... finished it with ease just by placing a few tar pits at the door to slow enemies by foot and just get steves for the rest of this round :D (upgrade them to fire arrows and it's a breeze)

Hey Sips, you convinced me to buy this game.

As something I learned playing through the spring traps are actually useful on good trap setups to fling Orcs who get through back to run the gauntlet again. You get the upgrade to make these cheaper its actually an affordable alternative to more traps ;)

The ice amulet instantly kills fliers, that and gnolls/ogres is it's main use (because when you stun them they move their heads, if they're frozen it's easier to get headshots). Also, if you're having trouble with fliers you can put arrow walls higher up on the walls for them.

The most effective way i found to pass the levels with no problem is with barricades and the flame bracers. Try to force them into a barricade made choke and the the secondary with the flame bracer, it creates a line of fire which kills all orcs for 10 seconds. This makes for easy mode levels.
