Rather, he said that the British believed that Hussein had tried to buy uranium (not that he had succeeded), and that the IAEA said in the 1990's that Hussein was working on nuclear weapons. Both of those are indisputably true statements. Moreover, the British, and, as far as I know, the IAEA, still hold by their claims.

@ReaperSin You have a point and I made the same point to my friend. The good things that came out of war with Iraq was it drew war with Al Queda to Iraq away from U.S. soil. I know the battles there included sectarian violence as well.
Another good thing is it brought Democracy, which is to say westernized thinking to a country in the Middle East. Who would have thought their would ever be a Free people in the Middle East?
