@merangkillbots Finally someone thinked about saying this in front of a splinter cell game review. I'm not going to say that i hate SC, i actually loved every single one of them, including this one. But Ubisoft should not continue trying to top Metal Gear because that's where they got their ideas in the first place. I can say that every single PSP MGS game is perfect, and can easily top this, but Ubisoft still did a great job of bringing Splinter Cell on the PSP.

I am against this guy's opinion.

the first splinter cell game was only for the original xbox at first. Then it moved onto the ps2 after a while. I think its gonna be the same for the new splinter cell game. It will be for the 360 at first but then move onto the ps3 IMO

As a huge fan of Sam Fisher, I was so excited to get this game on the PSP, especially with the news that the rights to the Splinter Cell franchise have exclusively been bought by Microsoft and the PlayStation will unlikely see another title for quite some time.

But it pains me to say that the slightly ambitious title of the game has been a bit of a disappointment when it comes to the gameplay.

Atleast the PSP has a Splinter Cell optimized for it, the DS only got an N-gage port that has horrible touch-screen controls and is very choppy in framerate, especially with the night vision / thermal visor on.

I hate reviews like this, taken from a journalist's view in that they have more than one console to follow each incarnation of a game, rather than those of us that have only 1 console at a time. Games like this are therefore not unoriginal or tired if you only have the PSP. Developers shouldnt replace every aspect of a game to make it new because some of us dont have an office full of consoles. You should review a game on its own merits, not on how similar it happened to be on another platform.
