The Quran is more in common to the Book of Mormon, in that God claims that religious leaders have so misconstrued (or otherwise corrupted) scripture that the most ancient writings are no longer valid. These texts are of God speaking directly to a Prophet to set the story straight on what really happened (as opposed to works inspired by God through various authors).

During Ramadan the Quran is usually recited in 30 equal parts that way it can be completed in one month. @Boogawes The Quran actually does not contain the Torah. It has similar recollections. The Quran is more in common to the Book of Mormon, in that God claims that religious leaders have so misconstrued (or otherwise corrupted) scripture that the most ancient writings are no longer valid. These texts are of God speaking directly to a Prophet to set the story straight on what really happened (as opposed to works inspired by God through various authors).

No the first 5 books do not make up the Koran. Though the Koran does follow and acknoledge the prophets that Jews and Christians do. That's about it. The Bible and the Torah is corrupted. It was made by men, and added and taken away. There is proof see "the bible unearthed" it in part, proves by science and history, that the bloodline does not match, and the story of the Exodus is not true. The Jews were not slaves. Part are fairy tales, like poetry, to explain things, not real life acts.

A century of research by archaeologists and Egyptologists has found no evidence which can be directly related to the Exodus narrative of an Egyptian captivity and the escape and travels through the wilderness, but its origins are actually in Canaan, not Egypt

It's easy. Outside of the bible there is no empirical evidence of Israel. It is a myth. The jewish people are a myth. The jewish race is a myth. well actually, if you run down the list these people that call THEMSELVES jews, whatever that means, have actually done a lot of harm. Karl marx was a jew and his ideas caused millions of deaths. @Yusuf491 Okay, then I wonder how 30 books can be contained in one if the Qu'ran is not an ANTHOLOGY of what you believe to be holy writing. The same holds true for the Christian Bible in the sense that it is a compliation of small books combined into one large Book: 39 books written before Jesus' time on Earth and 27 written after His acension.

@Boogawes Where did youget that figure of 30 books contained in one? The Qur'an has 114 Chapters. Wait I just figured out what you are misunderstanding. It is not 30 books contained in one. During Ramadan the Quran is usually recited in 30 equal parts that way it can be completed in one month. This holds true for other months as well that if you read 1/30 a day you will usually finish the Qur'an in one month.

No the first 5 books of the Torah DO NOT MAKE UP THE FIRST 5 BOOKS OF ISLAM. In Islam there is only one BOOK Al-Qur'an. The Quranic Verse about apes and swine is figurative not literal and about a very specific group of JEWS not all. Muslims follow the Quran not Bible.
