In the city of Cambridge Ontario Canada the mayor and council demand that elderly parents pay up to $4,000 for permission to live indpendently in the homes of an adult child, in something as simple as a Granny suite or basement apartment. For a municipal government to extort aging parents who simply want to spend their remaining years with family, and the grandchildren, is the worst elder abuse I've ever seen a government get involved in.

It isn't nice to extort seniors who want to spend their remaining years living with family. Cambridge is a hostile city for seniors to live in. Adult children who do provide such accommodatin for their elderly parents even have there property taxes increased.

I cry when elderly people abuse others too you know?
even i know elderly people are NOT innocent
and i'm a pansie.
and if an old person attacks me first i should have the right to attack that old person back.
because this is Canada, not Nazi Germany, i should have my rights as a human to defend myself from some one who is not even considered a child.
why should some old people walk all over us like a bunch of feminazis? and think that they have the right to abuse us?
