The reason most comp shooters use revolvers is for that reason. Revolvers are going to go bang every time you pull the trigger. Auto's miss feed, auto's stove pipe and double feed from time to time..that's just an auto, it can be firing one round a second and miss feed or stove pipe. It really is an issue of ammunition and magazine tension more than cycle rate ability.

The bolt assembly in M2 has a stroke of just over 4 inches, most pistols move less than 1in or so. Cyclic rate is determined by recoil force of the round, and weight of the return spring

its a Smith & Wesson model 625 with his own custom grip, it fires a .45ACP and uses full mood clips, so its even faster than a speed loader for reloading, im not sure about that one, but some of his revolvers have bobbes off hemmers, he fires double action.
Did you hear what happened yesterday, Jerry was told by BATF that his finger has to be registered as a class 3 weapon. His tax stamp number has to be tattoed to his finger & he had to pay a $1,000 transfer tax.
