I couldn't imagine a more beautiful guardian angel to walk my path with me than Kathryn ... she has such great chemistry with Legacy that it was sad to see them break up
Yes, the technique is not perfect but I dunno why it's been many many months since I watched this routine but I can't get this routine out of my mind! I guess it's because of sincerity of Legacy plus Legacy&Kathryn chemistry which is so INCREDIBLE! The song becomes my favorite love song of all time too!
Just look at the way they glide across the floor.. Very wonderful choreography... Very wonderful emotions! God is great!! Gosh!!! Inspiring! :)) Angels....
@MLMusicLover9 Kathryn and Legacy are amongst my favorite couples from the series. The other people from that list are Evan and Randi, Kayla and Kupono, Brandon and Jeanette, Melissa and Ade, Jeanine and Jason, Ashleigh and Jakob, Lauren and Kent and Ashley and Robert. I started watching the show in season 5 so that's why my favorite couples are only from the last 3 seasons.
yeah, I agree!the extensions and movements were not perfect but its the chemistry between legacy and Kathryn made it extraordinary.. I always love this couple despite their totally different genre, they seem to meet halfway..
i think there's something to be said for the fact that he was totally there for kathryn. even if his technique wasn't perfect, he was always ready for her--he was strong enough, and he was always in the right place, waiting to lift her or lead her. it wasn't the best waltz, but they had a lot of chemistry!
didn't grow even though TRAINED judges and choreographers said otherwise. But you also said that the judges made their comments to usher America into voting for Legacy. I think your biggest problem is you're a cynic. You didn't sound jealous, but you're definitely a cynic.
You DID sound very biased and it seems like all your animosity towards him stems from the fact that you THINK he's a manipulative phony just trying to get votes. You didn't like HIM so you cut down everything he does, and that's bullshit. Your reasoning didn't really make much sense either because they were all based on your OPINION that he
Well, you're first comment made you sound extremely jealous. Of course he would not be able to touch you in contemporary. He is not a trained dancer. But if you want to say things like that...go get in a bboy circle with him.
@mason9236 What's there to be jealous of? I'm not trying to bgirl or define break dancing like he's trying to define contemporary when he knows NOTHING of it. If anything I'm jealous of dancers like Jaimie Goodwin, Alex Wong, Kayla Radomski, Danny Tidwell, etc whose skill level I want to match.
He never tried to define any style of dance, only dance as a whole. He related the routine to his life not the genre. I think you are biased towards all the street performers. Based on the comments on your channel, you are very sour towards Legacy, Jose, and Russell. Let me tell you a story. I've been bboying for a while now. I joined a boys hip-hop group that was affiliated with a dance studio full of all girls doing styles you are interested in. (Ballet, Contemporary ...
@mason9236 Bullshit - He DID try to define contemporary. He posted a video where he broke down the meaning of contemporary and used choppy film techniques and slowed down the routine. No offense, but that wasn't even dance let alone contemporary. I am not sour towards Russell so don't give me that bullshit - I was happy for him that he won because he took the initiative to train and learn other styles. Jose sucks, but that doesn't mean I'm biased. I liked Dominic and Gev because they LEARNED.
all the way to Jazz and tap). Now, no one there was concerned with who did what style or who was good and who wasn't. EVERYONE got along because we all shared a passion for dance. Regardless of whether you receive training in a studio or practice on the streets, you still love what you do and respect others who do it. Legacy is obviously a good dancer. He made it to the top 8. He is not defining contemporary, only creating a definition of it for himself. Are you suggesting he should not grow?
@mason9236 Except he's not growing. He only did his bboy moves throughout contemporary, jazz and broadway. That's not growing. I don't give a shit about his passion because I never questioned that. He just gives his stupid speeches to brainwash America since his dancing was never good enough for the show. I haven't had a problem with other street dancers and respected the likes of Dom, Gev, Josh, Twitch, Russell etc. Legacy and Jose are the only ones who pretty much suck at other styles.
First He didn't choreograph the routines. You want to blame someone for doing bboy moves through out the routines, blame the choreographers. Second, you are a 16 year old girl, saying he is not good enough for the show when we had PROFESSIONAL choreographers, directors, and dancers as judges say the opposite. You are a weak-minded girl who has the concept of dance mixed up. No one cares if you are better at contemporary then him. At the end of the day, we remember his name, not yours.
@mason9236 Let's not blame choreographers because you would have to blame ALL of them. It's HIS incapability to dance other styles that forced them to put his moves in. Even when he was put on the show the judges acknowledged he sucked at other styles. It's a REALITY show not a REAL dance competition - know the difference. Clearly you have no concept of dance if you thought he was any good and he will forever be remained as one of the worst in S6 - don't think he's remembered one way.
No, you REALLY are jealous. I honestly think you are. Watch him early in Vegas, Nigel says he "stinks" at cha-cha. And he was right. Legacy didn't do good in cha-cha. Then Mia said after he did contemporary he was better. Then in top 20, Adam says (in this video). "Legacy is crushing everything else." If you say I have no concept of dance, then ALL of USA doesn't cause they voted. Dancers shouldn't cut other dancers down, rather then pick them up. You're mad at his success.
@mason9236 Please, learn the definition of jealous and ask yourself why the hell would i be jealous of him? If I'm jealous of him for being on SYTYCD then I would post messages like these for ALL dancers especially winners. Please use some logic if you're going to waste my time arguing with me rather than acting like a 12 year old. The dancers I'm jealous of are the ones I WANT something similar to aka the talent of Jamie, Danny, Kayla, Alex, etc.
The only one acting like a 12 year old, is the the 16 year old I am talking to who seems to think she knows more than the panel of judges placed on SYTYCD.
Why are you jealous of him? Cause he is an un-trained dancer who adapted to new styles and went from being a guy who could just spin on his head but could not dance with a partner to a guy who made top 8 on a show created to challenge dancers in other styles, a show you wish you were on
@mason9236 LOL Now you're just being dumb. Re-read my messages and start bringing some logic here. If I wanted to suck at dancing then maybe I would be jealous of him but he has not adapted to any other styles and he did basically awful at this and everything else he had. He sucks and he knows it and you're brainwashed and don't know it.
@mason9236 There's nothing to be jealous of when it comes to Legacy. He's a fool if anything to me. So maybe next time you should try stringing together some logic if you want me to take your comments seriously.
See, you didn't even respond to my previous comment. My last comment contained nothing of jealousy. You don't even know how to argue properly. You would be IMPOSSIBLE to work with in choreographing a dance routine. If it isn't your way, it isn't right.
@mason9236 No, I did reply to your previous comment. But you're posting while I'm typing etc so I would have already responded before reading your latest comment.
@mason9236 However Twitch learned waaay more than Legacy and didn't try to pretend like he was doing a remarkable job. He was actually trying really hard and had amazing musicality (something Legacy lacks). That coupled with his personality got him far NOT his versatility. I don't hate dancers for not being amazing contemporary dancers or for not being versatile, I hate the fakes - Legacy - who used speeches to go far rather than dancing.
Legacy lacking musicality shows you are ill-informed, first of all. Legacy wasn't pretending he was doing a remarkable job. His "speeches" were not ones of boast but of inspiration. Pretty much ALL the non-trained hip-hoppers say them. Michael "Onion" Kim said in his season 2 audition that "Popping was looked at as a fad, not legit.". And that is what these street performers want to prove. That although they do not work in a studio, they can make it far and they can dance.
@mason9236 No Legacy did lack musicality in some of his OWN solos. That was one of the major pet peeves I had with him. He did pretend he did amazing because he talked about growing and learning when in fact he was just doing bboy moves throughout them all. I don't remember such speeches from other dancers - they did what they were supposed to - grow and learn rather than talk about growing and learning. He knew he was bad at the waltz so he took the opportunity to cry and make a speech.
Let me just point out. That most people who do not break, have difficulty pointing out musicality in bboy solos, performances, and battles. Legacy's musicality was dope. From the turtles in his audition to the freezes in Vegas to his downrock in his top 10 solo to his powermoves in his 2nd Top 8 solo. Those are just some examples off the top of my head. Pacman gave speeches like that, Kevin Hunte did in this season as well. Dominic even gave one while maintaining his sense of humor.
@mason9236 Uhh let me just point out that I'm a contemporary ballet and jazz dancer and I would recognize musicality and where it's lacking - such as his No Air solo. It's more than hitting a powermove at the right time. None of his moves worked with the music. I don't remember a speech like that from Pacman. Dominic said he wanted to grow and learn and actually did that. They never cried before critique so Nigel went "HOW CAN I CRITIQUE YOU AFTER THAT SPEECH?"
@mason9236 Everytime someone argues with me they say Legacy has HEART AND PASSION as if the other dancers who come on this show don't really care about dancing the way Legacy does just because they didn't give speeches about HOPE, OPPORTUNITY, PASSION etc. Like give me a break, let your dancing speak for itself rather than tears and words. This isn't a pageant.
Pacman gave a very VERY similar speech when he got voted off. As for the No Air solo, I never made any mention of power moves. You do recognize musicality, but not from a bboy that is for sure. Not only did he hit beats, he worked with the music. "Right off the Ground float to you..." as Legacy jumps into a baby freeze. "Took my breath" As Legacy grabs his throat into a back bend. "Do you expect me" As Legacy points to himself and hits down rock. He felt the song.
@mason9236 WHEN Pacman got voted off. He wasn't making speeches to get votes. You're the lunatic here missing out on everything. And this proves you don't really know musicality because those are lyrics, Legacy wasn't working with the MUSIC. Choreographing your moves EXACTLY to the lyrics isn't creative at all. He didn't work well in the MUSIC with that solo. When /I/ talked about powermoves it wasn't specific to that solo - I was working with what you mentioned.
And I like how you point out one example to prove your point as I took 4. The more examples and facts you can find the better. One thing is for certain, you do not know how to debate very well. But I understand, they didn't give you that class in school yet.
@mason9236 You want more examples, in his second solo he completely botched the ending landing out of the music. I pointed out his No Air solo because there was no musicality there at all. With the amount of beats he missed I would think he choreographed that to another song. Oh please, don't even talk to me about debating since you started with "ur juzz jelus" using NO logic whatsoever since me being jealous would include me posting comments on EVERY sytycd video. Looks like you can't debate.
But it makes no difference. Of course YOU know Legacy personally. You work with the show. You know for a FACT Legacy spoke to get votes. I love how you STILL Call me the lunatic, when all the people who saw this were on my side. I guess the insane really think everyone else is crazy, hahaha. Yes he moved to the lyrics, and he moved to the beats. You can't hit EVERY beat while bboying. You try being up-side down for 30 seconds and hit all the beats. And to be honest.
@mason9236 Everyone with a functioning brain knows that Legacy spoke to get votes JUST LIKE HE DID RIGHT HERE since he knew the dancing was shit, lunatic. Trust me a ton of people ar eon my side too and they KNOW dancing. You like Legacy so you're basically crazy and easily manipulated, not my fault. He didn't move to the music at all. He also took forever to start in a 30 second solo LOL.
Then apparently you are the only one with a functional brain in the US. I all ready proved he moved to the beat and interpreted the lyrics, what else do you want? Him to compose music too? "You like Legacy so you're basically crazy and easily manipulated". I cannot get over how ignorant you are. Who do you think you are? Anna Pavlova? You contradict professionals and say "Let me justify what these people know of dance." Let me fill you in to a wake up call, little girl.
@mason9236 LOL People voted for him BECAUSE of his speeches - even they knew it but didn't care because they don't know much about dance. You're the only one in denial, thus without a brain. He didn't move to the beat - way to completely miss that little 12 year old kid. LOL please professionals - they're reality show producers FIRST. No the difference instead of eating bullshit from the palm of people's hands. Even they knew the dancing sucked but didn't comment on that - watch this video.
There are THOUSANDS of people like you. Teenagers who go to studios to receive training in dance. You are not this lone dancer making a difference, so drop this attitude you have about you that says you are superior. For starts, you should quit claiming your superiority over other dancers. You are not a professional, you are not a legend, you are not known for your dance. If you were I would know who the hell you are. So, wake up, and quit acting omnipotent.
@mason9236 Tell me where did i claim to be this lone dancer making a difference? Please, show me. Stop putting things in people's mouth. I look up to dancers not PHONIES. And guess what, I don't know who the hell you are, nor do I ever care to know. I still think Legacy sucks at dancing - now what? Too bad you seem to have some inferiority complex that you're so hell bent on defending someone you don't even know and doesn't care about your existence.
If your idea of "using logic" is repeating everything you say over and over again, you are very good at it. He most definitely hits beats. Watch his videos again and ask any bboy with any type of knowledge what so ever.
1 day ago
@mason9236 lol please. Not only am I over 10 years younger than him but I'm a contemporary ballet dancer and he wouldn't be able to touch me in that.
^^^ That is where you claimed superiority for no reason, you cocky anonymous zero.
@mason9236 That's a FACT lol. I didn't say "oh I'll beat Legacy in breakdancing" - that would be claiming superiority. But I'm not the one trying to redefine breakdancing. COME ON ADDRESS THE TWO QUESTIONS I POSED. You're seriously a ridiculous joke and this point because you can't admit that you pulled out some bullshit comments that are untrue.
I'm done trying to reason with a menstruating angry teenage girl. Go on, and tell yourself that you are right, and all the voters in the US, all the other dancers who are fans and all the judges and choreographers are wrong. Live your life, being an ignorant shell, hiding herself from others opinions, ultimately making you one very difficult to work with. Until, you learn to accept others, you never really make it anywhere.
@mason9236 Lmao I'm right, thanks. Moron, you need to learn to accept the opinions of others and realize what an OPINION Is to begin with or you will get no where besides worshiping Legacy in your room. Thanks for wasting my time you 12 year old. Now go reply to others telling them they're not entitled to their opinion. Retard.
Keep telling yourself those lies. I accept opinions, but opinions that can be backed up, not ones saying "ANYONE with a brain can see that." That does not back anything up. So, keep telling yourself you are right. If that makes you happy, do it. If you think I worship Legacy in my room, fine. IF you think I am 12, fine. Hahaha. Just do whatever it takes to make you happy. You will need it.
@mason9236 I did back my opinions - I said he gives speeches to save him - exhibit A) this video. He gave that speech about hope and Nigel said "How can we critique you?" They basically said he did bad in it but they can't be harsh on him - his speech saved him. But you're in denial of what's right in front of your face. And I don't care if you worship Legacy in your room. I won't even remember your youtube name later on so all you did was waste my time by trying to argue against my opinion.
@mason9236 Not to mention, I didn't try to change anyone's opinion - nor do I give a shit about another person's opinion for that matter. YOU replied to ME. Maybe YOU should get your mentality checked for a second and realize that you waste people's time with a bunch of bullshit. I'm not the one who replied to you saying "NO DON'T THINK THAT WAY, THINK THIS WAY" so maybe you should shut up and quit claiming your superiority over other people.
No contemporary dancers hit EVERY beat either. I said it before, I will say it again. Unless you break, you will most likely have trouble spotting musicality in a bboy because their moves are different and sometimes hard to keep up with. And, you do a GREAT job of sounding jealous. You are not aware of it, but you certainly come across as it. Why else would you call him out to contemporary then willingly reject breaking. Haha. Go make top 8, and I will admit I am wrong.
@mason9236 And to be honest, yes they do. It's not "hitting beats" it's dancing to the music. Look at jazz dances especially ones choreographed by Sonya. I didn't have any difficulty spotting musicality in Gev (his was AMAZING btw) and Dominic's, etc. Why only Legacy. Again, tell me then if I'm sooo jealous of Legacy for being on the show as shown by my comments then why am I not posting comments like this on Benji, Sabra, Joshua, Jeanine etc's videos?
As for every time someone argues with you. You are honestly the FIRST person I have ever seen on here or in person dislike Legacy as a dancer. And say he cannot dance at all. Perhaps, the stats prove something here...I showed this argument to fellow dancers and they think you are a lunatic.
@mason9236 Oh, we're calling names, now? Please don't waste my time with this bullshit. Do you think all the people who "liked" this video are dancers. And really who are these fellow dancers of yours. Ask them to have a conversation with me so I can see how much they know to justify those comments. Saying he cannot dance at all was harsh but imo he's an overrated phony who could only do bboy moves and every other dancer to step on that stage was more talented than him.
The fellow dancers were the ones who accept other dancers regardless of their genres and talents. Of course. You. The ALL MIGHTY random 16 year old girl who no one knows about will justify what they know about dance. The same girl who apparently knows more than a panel of professional judges.
@mason9236 I mean they WON lol but I still think they're talented. I think Legacy is a pathetic phony lol and I don't want to be that. I might come off as an "all mighty random 16 year old girl" but at least I'm not a 12 year old boy who goes "ur juzz jelus". And again I accepted Dominic, Russell, Gev, Joshua, etc from different genres. So again please bring some logic to the table here. I accepted Benji, Heidi, Anya, etc - different genres from me.
@mason9236 So please start addressing these comments - 1) If I'm jealous of Legacy for making it as far as he did and hating him for being on the show then why do I not post comments like these on videos of dancers who won 2) If I don't accept dancers from other genres then why do I respect Gev, Dominic, Heidi, Pasha, Russell, etc?
Let's face it - you're making some of the most bullshit arguments ever lmao. Please start using some logic because you're coming off as a fool.
And by the way, saying "Please use logic" in every one of your comments does not make you sound like a guru. I've done more than use logic. I even took public opinion. Look around, little girl. LOOK for Legacy hate comments. Go to his videos. Are you suggesting you are right over all of them? And don't say "Well, they probably aren't real dancers watching." Cause you're here aren't you? You are a real dancer, correct?
@mason9236 Address my questions please. Why are you looking to others opinions? They can have their opinions - they are OPINIONS DUMBASS. Everyone is entitled to one. I don't need to consult others to form my opinions. I'm a trained dancer and 99% of the people who post aren't, therefore I don't have the same opinions as them and I don't wish to change theirs - I merely state mine.
@mason9236 99% of people who POST here aren't. LMAO quit wasting YOUR time? YOU REPLIED TO ME FIRST DUMBASS LMAOAOAO. How thick are you? Seriously. You took on a battle you can't win.
@mason9236 THAT is success. So please save the bullshit "jealousy" thing because your logic makes no sense since that would entail me hating ALL sytycd competitors who have gone on to be successful. You're unaware of the difference between a reality show and a dance competition. Here they market PERSONALITIES before dancers. Do you think the average American watches this show and relates to a dancer based on technique? Nope, the average American isn't a dancer.
@mason9236 Clearly it's based on personality because if it wasn't Danny Tidwell would win. And people liked the personalities of Sabra, Neil, Lacey, Lauren and Pasha as well - it's not like they were void of personality compared to Dominic.
It's based on a little bit of everything. NOT just Personality. EVERYONE loved D-Trix and EVERYONE loved Twitch. Neither of them won. It takes more then JUST personality.
@mason9236 Yes, but America can't tell the difference in styles they're not trained in. Which is why the manipulation has to come in. The judges couldn't cut down Legacy's lack of technique and versatility upfront otherwise he would lose votes and they wouldn't get a bboy to go far. Twitch wouldn't have gone as far as he did if the judges didn't open their mouths. Sorry to say but Twitch's contemporaries weren't that good neither were his classical ballroom or even latin for that matter.
@mason9236 The average American has no concept of dance - and I'm not asking them to. Their votes for him are based on his personality and speeches like the one he made here. The judges have to hide his bad dancing and say shit like "him crushing everything else" but if you ask a real dancer they will say no he is NOT. Ask one contemporary dancer if he did anything correctly and I can guarantee you they will say no unless they're delusional.
And of course there are mistakes. You can't expect perfection out of him in such short time. You can tell without a doubt there are mistakes. The thing is...did he get better? Seriously. Compare him in his top 20 dances to his dances in Vegas. Adam even said in an interview, Legacy was growing the whole show. THAT is why he stayed alive. Sure, he was not the best in the classical styles. But every week he got a little stronger and a little stronger.
@mason9236 I don't care if he got better. I'm not telling him to keep being the same/showing no growth etc. It's just that the dancers who were ALREADY good already got cut even though he CONSTANTLY made mistakes. There's a difference between getting better and then trying to redefine contemporary instead of learning the style. THAT is when he became a complete joke to me. Go check out his video.
Not only are the song and the lyrics beautiful, but the chemistry between Kathryn and Legacy is absolutely breathtaking, and the choreography is unforgettable!
They did a really good job and props to Jean-Marc! The Viennese Waltz is usually just dizzilying fast guy pulling the girl around the floor gracefully but if done poorly by an inexperienced ballroom dancer, it looks very sloppy. Legacy did respectable considering he was smaller than Kathryn when she's in her heels and he still pulled it off without it looking too horrible. This could've been painful, but it was pretty decent.
Kathryn is absolutely stunning in this routine. Legacy is okay. He's got a moving story and they played that up a lot in this season, but he wasn't the most versatile dancer.
Ohh I didn't know Legacy went for SYTYCD but I'm glad he did. I always thought breakdancing was the only genre for him but looking at him doing this piece totally changed my mind. I really wish him the best and that he keeps improving himself as a dancer not just in breakdancing but in other areas as well.
1:50 that has to be one of my favorite lifts of all time!!! They both look so gorgeous doing it! Well done and beautiful choreography! Kathryn was one of my favorite dancers this season.
i don't think anyone got the joke at 3:42 when adam says that legacy needs to work more on his feet to do ballroom. adam probably felt stupid after saying that and getting no reaction. lol.
when they finished dancing this i say to my mom "I think i'm gonna cry!!" then i saw that Legacy was crying and i started crying too. :,) it was a mixture of happy tears cuz it was so beautiful and i felt so proud of Legacy and sad tears cuz this was their last routine as a couple.
<33 Love Kathacy!! one of my favorite couples ever, along w/ Katee and Joshua, Gev and Courtney and Evan and Randi!
this is my favorite routine of the whole season. it's absolutely beautiful and utterly breathtaking.

didn't grow even though TRAINED judges and choreographers said otherwise. But you also said that the judges made their comments to usher America into voting for Legacy. I think your biggest problem is you're a cynic. You didn't sound jealous, but you're definitely a cynic.

Wow, you guys need to get a room.
Okay, so if I may stick my nose in here. Let me start by saying I am not a huge fan of Legacy.
@bedourz

Yeah keep relating stuff to your life Legacy. We know you can't dance so cry instead. Pathetic.

@bedourz
I take it he beat you in a battle or something one time?
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 lol please. Not only am I over 10 years younger than him but I'm a contemporary ballet dancer and he wouldn't be able to touch me in that.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
Well, you're first comment made you sound extremely jealous. Of course he would not be able to touch you in contemporary. He is not a trained dancer. But if you want to say things like that...go get in a bboy circle with him.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 What's there to be jealous of? I'm not trying to bgirl or define break dancing like he's trying to define contemporary when he knows NOTHING of it. If anything I'm jealous of dancers like Jaimie Goodwin, Alex Wong, Kayla Radomski, Danny Tidwell, etc whose skill level I want to match.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
(Ballet, Contemporary ...
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Bullshit - He DID try to define contemporary. He posted a video where he broke down the meaning of contemporary and used choppy film techniques and slowed down the routine. No offense, but that wasn't even dance let alone contemporary. I am not sour towards Russell so don't give me that bullshit - I was happy for him that he won because he took the initiative to train and learn other styles. Jose sucks, but that doesn't mean I'm biased. I liked Dominic and Gev because they LEARNED.
bedourz 1 year ago
all the way to Jazz and tap). Are you suggesting he should not grow?
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Except he's not growing. He only did his bboy moves throughout contemporary, jazz and broadway. That's not growing. I don't give a shit about his passion because I never questioned that. He just gives his stupid speeches to brainwash America since his dancing was never good enough for the show. I haven't had a problem with other street dancers and respected the likes of Dom, Gev, Josh, Twitch, Russell etc. Legacy and Jose are the only ones who pretty much suck at other styles.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
At the end of the day, we remember his name, not yours.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Let's not blame choreographers because you would have to blame ALL of them. It's HIS incapability to dance other styles that forced them to put his moves in. Even when he was put on the show the judges acknowledged he sucked at other styles. It's a REALITY show not a REAL dance competition - know the difference. Clearly you have no concept of dance if you thought he was any good and he will forever be remained as one of the worst in S6 - don't think he's remembered one way.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
You're mad at his success.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Please, learn the definition of jealous and ask yourself why the hell would i be jealous of him? If I'm jealous of him for being on SYTYCD then I would post messages like these for ALL dancers especially winners. Please use some logic if you're going to waste my time arguing with me rather than acting like a 12 year old. The dancers I'm jealous of are the ones I WANT something similar to aka the talent of Jamie, Danny, Kayla, Alex, etc.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
The only one acting like a 12 year old, is the the 16 year old I am talking to who seems to think she knows more than the panel of judges placed on SYTYCD.
Why are you jealous of him? Cause he is an un-trained dancer who adapted to new styles and went from being a guy who could just spin on his head but could not dance with a partner to a guy who made top 8 on a show created to challenge dancers in other styles, a show you wish you were on
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 LOL Now you're just being dumb. Re-read my messages and start bringing some logic here. If I wanted to suck at dancing then maybe I would be jealous of him but he has not adapted to any other styles and he did basically awful at this and everything else he had. He sucks and he knows it and you're brainwashed and don't know it.
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 There's nothing to be jealous of when it comes to Legacy. He's a fool if anything to me. So maybe next time you should try stringing together some logic if you want me to take your comments seriously.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
See, you didn't even respond to my previous comment. My last comment contained nothing of jealousy. You don't even know how to argue properly. You would be IMPOSSIBLE to work with in choreographing a dance routine. If it isn't your way, it isn't right.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 No, I did reply to your previous comment. But you're posting while I'm typing etc so I would have already responded before reading your latest comment.
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 However Twitch learned waaay more than Legacy and didn't try to pretend like he was doing a remarkable job. He was actually trying really hard and had amazing musicality (something Legacy lacks). That coupled with his personality got him far NOT his versatility. I don't hate dancers for not being amazing contemporary dancers or for not being versatile, I hate the fakes - Legacy - who used speeches to go far rather than dancing.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
That although they do not work in a studio, they can make it far and they can dance.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 No Legacy did lack musicality in some of his OWN solos. That was one of the major pet peeves I had with him. He did pretend he did amazing because he talked about growing and learning when in fact he was just doing bboy moves throughout them all. I don't remember such speeches from other dancers - they did what they were supposed to - grow and learn rather than talk about growing and learning. He knew he was bad at the waltz so he took the opportunity to cry and make a speech.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
Dominic even gave one while maintaining his sense of humor.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Uhh let me just point out that I'm a contemporary ballet and jazz dancer and I would recognize musicality and where it's lacking - such as his No Air solo. It's more than hitting a powermove at the right time. None of his moves worked with the music. I don't remember a speech like that from Pacman. Dominic said he wanted to grow and learn and actually did that. They never cried before critique so Nigel went "HOW CAN I CRITIQUE YOU AFTER THAT SPEECH?"
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 Everytime someone argues with me they say Legacy has HEART AND PASSION as if the other dancers who come on this show don't really care about dancing the way Legacy does just because they didn't give speeches about HOPE, OPPORTUNITY, PASSION etc. Like give me a break, let your dancing speak for itself rather than tears and words. This isn't a pageant.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
He felt the song.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 WHEN Pacman got voted off. He wasn't making speeches to get votes. You're the lunatic here missing out on everything. And this proves you don't really know musicality because those are lyrics, Legacy wasn't working with the MUSIC. Choreographing your moves EXACTLY to the lyrics isn't creative at all. He didn't work well in the MUSIC with that solo. When /I/ talked about powermoves it wasn't specific to that solo - I was working with what you mentioned.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
And I like how you point out one example to prove your point as I took 4. The more examples and facts you can find the better. One thing is for certain, you do not know how to debate very well. But I understand, they didn't give you that class in school yet.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 You want more examples, in his second solo he completely botched the ending landing out of the music. I pointed out his No Air solo because there was no musicality there at all. With the amount of beats he missed I would think he choreographed that to another song. Oh please, don't even talk to me about debating since you started with "ur juzz jelus" using NO logic whatsoever since me being jealous would include me posting comments on EVERY sytycd video. Looks like you can't debate.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
And to be honest.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Everyone with a functioning brain knows that Legacy spoke to get votes JUST LIKE HE DID RIGHT HERE since he knew the dancing was shit, lunatic. Trust me a ton of people ar eon my side too and they KNOW dancing. You like Legacy so you're basically crazy and easily manipulated, not my fault. He didn't move to the music at all. He also took forever to start in a 30 second solo LOL.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
You contradict professionals and say "Let me justify what these people know of dance." Let me fill you in to a wake up call, little girl.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 LOL People voted for him BECAUSE of his speeches - even they knew it but didn't care because they don't know much about dance. You're the only one in denial, thus without a brain. He didn't move to the beat - way to completely miss that little 12 year old kid. LOL please professionals - they're reality show producers FIRST. No the difference instead of eating bullshit from the palm of people's hands. Even they knew the dancing sucked but didn't comment on that - watch this video.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
So, wake up, and quit acting omnipotent.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Tell me where did i claim to be this lone dancer making a difference? Please, show me. Stop putting things in people's mouth. I look up to dancers not PHONIES. And guess what, I don't know who the hell you are, nor do I ever care to know. I still think Legacy sucks at dancing - now what? Too bad you seem to have some inferiority complex that you're so hell bent on defending someone you don't even know and doesn't care about your existence.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
^^^ That is where you claimed superiority for no reason, you cocky anonymous zero.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 That's a FACT lol. I didn't say "oh I'll beat Legacy in breakdancing" - that would be claiming superiority. But I'm not the one trying to redefine breakdancing. COME ON ADDRESS THE TWO QUESTIONS I POSED. You're seriously a ridiculous joke and this point because you can't admit that you pulled out some bullshit comments that are untrue.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
Until, you learn to accept others, you never really make it anywhere.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Lmao I'm right, thanks. Moron, you need to learn to accept the opinions of others and realize what an OPINION Is to begin with or you will get no where besides worshiping Legacy in your room. Thanks for wasting my time you 12 year old. Now go reply to others telling them they're not entitled to their opinion. Retard.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
You will need it.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 I did back my opinions - I said he gives speeches to save him - exhibit A) this video. He gave that speech about hope and Nigel said "How can we critique you?" They basically said he did bad in it but they can't be harsh on him - his speech saved him. But you're in denial of what's right in front of your face. And I don't care if you worship Legacy in your room. I won't even remember your youtube name later on so all you did was waste my time by trying to argue against my opinion.
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 Not to mention, I didn't try to change anyone's opinion - nor do I give a shit about another person's opinion for that matter. YOU replied to ME. Maybe YOU should get your mentality checked for a second and realize that you waste people's time with a bunch of bullshit. I'm not the one who replied to you saying "NO DON'T THINK THAT WAY, THINK THIS WAY" so maybe you should shut up and quit claiming your superiority over other people.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
Haha. Go make top 8, and I will admit I am wrong.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 And to be honest, yes they do. It's not "hitting beats" it's dancing to the music. Look at jazz dances especially ones choreographed by Sonya. I didn't have any difficulty spotting musicality in Gev (his was AMAZING btw) and Dominic's, etc. Why only Legacy. Again, tell me then if I'm sooo jealous of Legacy for being on the show as shown by my comments then why am I not posting comments like this on Benji, Sabra, Joshua, Jeanine etc's videos?
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
As for every time someone argues with you. You are honestly the FIRST person I have ever seen on here or in person dislike Legacy as a dancer. And say he cannot dance at all. Perhaps, the stats prove something here...I showed this argument to fellow dancers and they think you are a lunatic.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Oh, we're calling names, now? Please don't waste my time with this bullshit. Do you think all the people who "liked" this video are dancers. And really who are these fellow dancers of yours. Ask them to have a conversation with me so I can see how much they know to justify those comments. Saying he cannot dance at all was harsh but imo he's an overrated phony who could only do bboy moves and every other dancer to step on that stage was more talented than him.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
The fellow dancers were the ones who accept other dancers regardless of their genres and talents. Of course. You. The ALL MIGHTY random 16 year old girl who no one knows about will justify what they know about dance. The same girl who apparently knows more than a panel of professional judges.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 I mean they WON lol but I still think they're talented. I think Legacy is a pathetic phony lol and I don't want to be that. I might come off as an "all mighty random 16 year old girl" but at least I'm not a 12 year old boy who goes "ur juzz jelus". And again I accepted Dominic, Russell, Gev, Joshua, etc from different genres. So again please bring some logic to the table here. I accepted Benji, Heidi, Anya, etc - different genres from me.
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 So please start addressing these comments - 1) If I'm jealous of Legacy for making it as far as he did and hating him for being on the show then why do I not post comments like these on videos of dancers who won 2) If I don't accept dancers from other genres then why do I respect Gev, Dominic, Heidi, Pasha, Russell, etc?
Let's face it - you're making some of the most bullshit arguments ever lmao. Please start using some logic because you're coming off as a fool.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
You are a real dancer, correct?
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Address my questions please. Why are you looking to others opinions? They can have their opinions - they are OPINIONS DUMBASS. Everyone is entitled to one. I don't need to consult others to form my opinions. I'm a trained dancer and 99% of the people who post aren't, therefore I don't have the same opinions as them and I don't wish to change theirs - I merely state mine.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
And 99% of people aren't. Hahahahahahahahaha. You know everything, don't you. God, quit wasting my time.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 99% of people who POST here aren't. LMAO quit wasting YOUR time? YOU REPLIED TO ME FIRST DUMBASS LMAOAOAO. How thick are you? Seriously. You took on a battle you can't win.
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 THAT is success. So please save the bullshit "jealousy" thing because your logic makes no sense since that would entail me hating ALL sytycd competitors who have gone on to be successful. You're unaware of the difference between a reality show and a dance competition. Here they market PERSONALITIES before dancers. Do you think the average American watches this show and relates to a dancer based on technique? Nope, the average American isn't a dancer.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
If it was based on personality, Dominic Sandoval would have won season 3.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Clearly it's based on personality because if it wasn't Danny Tidwell would win. And people liked the personalities of Sabra, Neil, Lacey, Lauren and Pasha as well - it's not like they were void of personality compared to Dominic.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
It's based on a little bit of everything. NOT just Personality. EVERYONE loved D-Trix and EVERYONE loved Twitch. Neither of them won. It takes more then JUST personality.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 Yes, but America can't tell the difference in styles they're not trained in. Which is why the manipulation has to come in. The judges couldn't cut down Legacy's lack of technique and versatility upfront otherwise he would lose votes and they wouldn't get a bboy to go far. Twitch wouldn't have gone as far as he did if the judges didn't open their mouths. Sorry to say but Twitch's contemporaries weren't that good neither were his classical ballroom or even latin for that matter.
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 The average American has no concept of dance - and I'm not asking them to. Their votes for him are based on his personality and speeches like the one he made here. The judges have to hide his bad dancing and say shit like "him crushing everything else" but if you ask a real dancer they will say no he is NOT. Ask one contemporary dancer if he did anything correctly and I can guarantee you they will say no unless they're delusional.
bedourz 1 year ago
@mason9236 I do encourage dancers and said he should go learn other styles. I don't encourage phonies.
bedourz 1 year ago
@bedourz
But every week he got a little stronger and a little stronger.
mason9236 1 year ago
@mason9236 I don't care if he got better. I'm not telling him to keep being the same/showing no growth etc. It's just that the dancers who were ALREADY good already got cut even though he CONSTANTLY made mistakes. There's a difference between getting better and then trying to redefine contemporary instead of learning the style. THAT is when he became a complete joke to me. Go check out his video.

This could've been painful, but it was pretty decent.

i don't think anyone got the joke at 3:42 when adam says that legacy needs to work more on his feet to do ballroom. adam probably felt stupid after saying that and getting no reaction. lol.

This dance is so beautiful! I would love to try this routine but I don't think I could do as wonderful as they did though.

when they finished dancing this i say to my mom "I think i'm gonna cry!!" then i saw that Legacy was crying and i started crying too.
