  • where can i buy one of these?

  • -- This is so awesome! Thank you for your videos and your obvious talents/time. I'm just learning about wood burning stoves and secondary combustion and these smart design modifications are fascinating.

  • I did this with a dickinson oil heater, worked just like this with a wonderful secondary burn and very hot operation..Wonderful work. We need these stoves and masonry heaters as well to use biomass instead of oil and electric and gas..

Europe does not need to be way ahead of us in this technology, Good job slatterbench!

  • you should burn large oak logs

a bought 10 to 15 logs for a very hot long burn

  • were an i buy a good used one

  • when you fire up your stove do you pack it full of wood

for a very good burn time

  • How much are they ?

  • Elms can often be found for as little as $100. When I refurbish them they often sell for $1000 or more. It depends on the size, model, extra features, and the parts I need to replace. From the outside you can't tell them from new ones.

  • @jacebigelow where would someone find a stove

  • @csprings71 contact me at bench70@comcast.net. I have a stove for sale, Steve

  • thats cool!
