Beautiful! Instead of just showing a bunch of moves to memorize, You have conceptually explained how the process works. Cutting of the squares, cornering the opposing king, careful to avoid stalemate and then deliver checkmate! Thank you Sir! Very well done indeed!
Hi from new york, new york. just wanted to point out that at 8:39 after ...Kb8, white needs to be careful NOT to play Kd7 and stalemate. Nothing more frustrating than accidentally drawing a won game!
Love all your videos, thanks for taking the time to make them!
@romayne2 Kd3 is playable of course, but white would then occupy e5 and d5 and the whites king is now much closer to the action and the checkmate would happen quicker. it would happen on the oposite side of the board from the video conclussion
@romayne2@romayne2 Kd3 is playable of course, but white's bishops would then occupy e5 and d5 and the white king is now much closer to the action and the checkmate would happen quicker. it would happen on the opposite side of the board from the video conclussion

from KY_ love all your videos_i watch when they post on FB! really needed to know this one! you would think it wouldnt be difficult with 2 bishop and a king vs one king but i am good at messing it up every time! ha! i see now how key obtaining the center becomes..and patience!! :-) thanks for posting these. my rating doesnt show it but i think these are making me a better player.
Hey Jerry! From Stafford Springs, CT! Thanks for the Howard Stern game, that's how I stumbled onto your very excellent channel. You wouldn't happen to have any more Howard games hanging around some place would you?
P.S. You have a great speaking voice. Very clear, calm, and easy to follow.
Great video. Many tutorials use the "triangle method" but that allows the opponent to move the king in a way that forces you to play certain tempo-wasting moves that could really cost you in a low time situation.
Bro, you are truly an incredible teacher. Your videos changed my perception of how a game could be analyzed and played. These videos have taught me more about chess than the last twenty years of my life. I highly appreciate the kindness you have shown by sharing your wisdom with me. Thank you. --Mountain City, North Carolina (United States)

Hi,
I like this tutorial very much.
Like you say its not the shortest manner, (the shortest is max 19 moves with best play by booth sites, according to Müller's endgame dvd).
Is it from some endgame book or so?
I want to ask because if it is I want to know the title, there most be some more good tutorials in this book.

@ANSIcode You have to make his king is on c8.
When coming with your king to a6 next to your bishop you have to make shore you have opposition, (you can waste a move by going to a5 first).
