I don't care what the haters say, I love this movie. My favorite line of all in the movie is "Come and get it lizard breath!" cracks me up each time. Also love the Bob-omb and the bullet bill. As far as Koopa being Bowser, his title is King Koopa which I thought is another name bowser has.

Daisy's first appearance wasn't until Super Mario Land, which came after the very first Super Mario Bros. Lastly, Pauline (who you referred to as Mario's girlfriend) only shows up in Donkey Kong and its sequels. The princess you see in the original Super Mario Bros is, in fact, Peach, but her hair color was different at the time.
