the music is from Battlestar Galactica Season 3 - Heeding the Call, All Along the Watchtower and Battlestar Galactica Season 1 The Shape of Things to Come
I do have a tip for people who want to make good looking towers without as much work. Warhammer buildings (40k or other) make great dice towers if you're willing to paint them. Heck, you can likely buy them fully painted anyway.
Suggestion 2: For those who can't stand the loud clatter of the dice (like me), I suggest gluing a thin layer of protective foam or velvet to each shelf, including the bottom floor, in the tower. The foam is better. (Battle Foam I believe it's called.)
Great great work. I'm looking at building a double-sided dice tower for my Mordheim games (so both players have a chute to toss dice into), and some Hirst Art molds so I can make it look like terrain. Very inspiring - and that song is my favorite from the BSG soundtrack.
If you have more cool terrain please post some cuz some of us other gamers need some inspiration once in awhile.
i sculpted them on the bottle with super sculpty, then used a hair dryer to harden it. i usually just etch the brick shapes into insulating foam, but for this i wanted to make it extra detailed
Great job! i like it very much. very well done!
