@wildbluefaerie how old are you? I'm 32, 33.6K was not even slow, I used a 14.4 in high school that was painful! These episodes brings back memory! That laptop probably cost $2-3000 then! when I was in college in 1998-ish It was really hard to find a laptop for under $1400...AND it was with a 56K modem still. LAN was thru an optional $200 PCMCIA card...do you even know what PCMCIA is? God I feel old!
