  • When she starts playing the violin and the crowd starts cheering and then her smile... awwwww im in love

  • this is beautiful

    greetings from sweden :)

  • This is AMAZING! They are so talented.

  • I like!!!

  • I love them soo much! When was this filmed?

  • Freedom of Speech was never an issue regarding the DC's. They said whatever they wanted every day. And so did their ex-fans. The Dixie Chicks went on a three year bile spewing public temper tantrum bashing individuals, The View that gave them their first national stage, and the entire C&W genre, all the while toting their victim cross onto every venue that would have them. Well, their ex-fans spoke with a closed wallet and a phone call to their radio stations. An epic win for Freedom of Speech.

  • Freedom of speech, I may not agree with what you say, but will defend to death your right to say it...

  • I'm asking myself if american people ever heard about FREEDOM OF OPINION and FREEDOM OF SPEECH...? Everybody has the right so think AND TO SAY what she or he wants als long it is her or his opinion! Why do you have to respect somebody and his decisions, if you do disagree and have another opinion? Why isn't it possible to express that you aren't pleased about people and the things they do and what they make happen? Do you want to live in a dictatorship? Take it or leave it, no arguing??

  • So talented!

  • I just hate that Natalie made that comment about president Bush. I always wanted to see them. Such a foolish thing to not stop and think that she may offend Americans. I her world conservatives and patriotic Americans dont exist go to concerts. She knows now dosent she?

  • luv it!

haha "it's like the price is right... EXCEPT - you can't come on down!" :-)))

  • My God......from 1:32 to 1:44 Natalie has the crowd in the palm of her hands. I also love the crowd reaction at 3:38 when Martie launches into her solo.

  • Nothing more to say than "They are awesome!" There will never be such great musicians here in germany...This is REAL music from selfconfident great ladies with beautiful voices!!!

  • its different when no one liked bush and said i dont support bush-i did btw- but when you say your ashamed to be from such and such a state cause thats where hes from thats bad- thatd be like me saying im ashamed to be from hawaii cause oboma was "born" there

  • not enough people know how to just ENJOY music. dixie chicks will come back in full force when they are ready... thier music speaks from the heart which is louder than hate.

  • I wish people would just let the past be the past and enjoy the damn music.

  • que buen tema

  • I love these girls not only for their music but how they stood up for themselves with Bush! much respect from me <3

  • How can they not miss this to death!!! when will they come back!!! and i mean all three of them two just isnt good enough

  • Awesome

  • just learned this song on guitar....these girls are fantastic and have and always will be my idols(L) forget those big stars, i prefer to listen to country....or more specifically my idols; Martie, Natalie and Emily <3

  • I love everything about this song!!!!!

  • I love this song its been stuck in my head for the past few days

  • Great!!

  • Yes, it sounds so good: a simple, good and true life in nature

  • Strong women that know how to play good music! This is the music I love to see my daughters listening to. We were in the car the other day and my 12 year old daughter discovered my Dixie Chicks cd and she listened to the whole cd several times over and wanted to learn more about them. That put a smile on my face.....Dixie Chicks you rock!!! You said how you felt about that jackass president ; you read my mind!!! Love your music!!

  • muto bom!

  • If you can feel it deep down in ya, it's good music and that what the Dixie Chicks are. Nashville was so conservative at the time they were banned from country. Such a shame. They're legendary and I wish they would do a kickass comeback tour and rake on tons of $

  • I love them so much! And they are as true as they come because when they preform live they sound exacty like the CD... Unlike others(Taylor Swift) *coughcough*

  • @ChelseaLeigh12996 did you see her covering this song recently, with Martie Maguire in the audience? she's great live, you should appreciate great young songwriters coming up and honoring the 'chicks. find it on youtube

  • @ChelseaLeigh12996 harsh words taylor is good at what she does...a song writer and entertainer, she pretends to be nothing more and she sings as well as she is able to which is better than most other artists...she paid tribute to martie a few weeks ago it was beautiful

  • When Nats looks up at the two guys who earlier had the poster while singing " closer to you" and points to them that is an audience connection.

  • I love them so much! Every song is great...and live it's gorgeous!!

  • Ill take 1 steel Magnolia like Natalie Maines.. than all the obedient house wives in Dixie.. every damn one of them.

  • Comment removed

  • im pressive. WOW

  • @guyduran yes sir.. damn impressive.. every time.. The Pride of Dixie =-)

  • that's got to be the best live concert ever! :)

  • Too bad the american country establishment couldnt handle their outspoken nature.Of course they didnt like John Denver either. He wasnt country enough.yah he only wrote Back Home Again,Country Roads Thank God Im A Country Boy,etc.Guess you have more cred if you are a dope smoking, beer dinking good old boy.

  • I am so in love with Natalie, she´s soooo hot. And i love their music. Strange, i am a big rock and hard rock fan, and also Dixie´, weird?

By the way, please come to Denmark.

  • hello there...<3 //

  • Wish I could have been at that concert...

  • i miss them ! i hope they make another album soon

  • this is beautiful music,I am from Germany.Forget Bieber, Gaga and co.

  • @MsMusikfreund

Ja genau. :) I'm from Hungary, and i fully agree with you.

    @needafix14

Not really. You have Dixie Chicks, they're americans ;) So, if i would be american, i would be proud of them ;)

Thanks america, for this great band. :)

  • @MsMusikfreund

  • i really love this song

  • 3:39

    really cool

  • awesome song

  • it must be awesome to have a crowd stand in front of you and sing your songs word for work along with you

  • Unglaublich, ich habe noch nie so viele Frauen jubeln und mitsingen gesehen wie bei dieser "Frauenband " !!!

    I love them

  • Great song and perfect performance! Can't believe the whole crowd know the lyrics. Wonder if ppl look back now and see that what they said abt Iraq was correct sine no WMD were found.

  • @cyau73

Um, not sure why you have to ruin the song with something that you have no clue about. I was in Iraq, yes there were weapons found and while I love the DC's music, they had no validity in their remarks regarding the war. If you weren't or haven't been to Iraq, then you have no right to talk about it.

  • country musiC.,da BEst...

  • Quite possibly the best true country artists of our generation. Awesome!

  • Pure joy, they make the world a brighter place!

  • Thank you so much for posting this and others.

  • This song was written while Emily was dating her future husband, by her sister, Martie. Now that Em is divorced from Robison, I wonder if she minds if the song is on the set list in concert. It's such a pretty song, esp. with the fiddle..

  • great show, like your voice :)

  • Are they extraordinary or what? The Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain are my faves and country radio these days don't play them enough. In the nineties they ruled the airwaves.

  • I've never seen an audience connect with any other country singers than they do with the Dixie Chicks. Very soothing.

  • @nickwalker1594 Totally agree! A hug from Argentina!

  • @nickwalker1594 take it you've never seen garth brooks then

  • I love this

  • Is country music...better still are the Dixie Chicks played regularly on a pop or country radio in Stockhom, cause it's important that they have a big following. If you've heard & been listening to them on youtube, that's no good. They would need alot of airplay so people get to know them and relate to them. Take Abba, everybody in the free/modern world has heard of them, play 'em and love their music, so their a hit here! I don't remember or know of them coming to Vancouver Canada. lol

  • When are they comming to SWEDEN !!!!

  • dixie chicks rock big time!!!!!!

    Paris Lo in las vegas

  • A slice of heaven on earth

  • @topsider7 forget the "slice" dis be da whole effing CAKE.

  • pure class

  • A cowboy could be any man attending a country concert like this one according to the Dixie Chicks. It's could be anyones fascination just what makes a man a cowboy, In the real world one would appear to look a real cowboy at least. I have to agree with Cafe9802, that many a cowboy are found at a rodeo event. It's anybody fascination to look at any man and term them a cowboy, particularily in the south. Here the term is usually Bud/Dude but never cowboy(it would be out of character).thx

  • If you were to check out a childs book to seek out a cowboy, you'd probably see some guy in jeans, cowboy boots and of coarse a Cowboy Hat. That's the best way to get my point across...through a childs eyes. Now what constitutes a real cowboy as far as the Dixie Chicks are concerned is anybodys guess?, but they know themselves, there are still alot of real cowboys out there...in rodeos & some in country music, like kenny chesney, clay walker, dwight yoakham & terri clark, It's Their Fantasy!!

  • someone think she's sing as good as the beatles?

(i dont know she's sin very god but as good as the beatles i dont know)

  • I made a comment 3 weeks ago & here I am again...I take this one in everyday. Anyway my cousin e-mailed me, he reads all my comments as many do and he re-minded me of what makes a cowboy. Apparentlt the Dixis Chicks could be referring to a cowhand, rancher or even someone on a horse. My cousin recalls the day when he was the cowboy of the family, wearing the cowboy hat#1, snug jeans but wore reg sneakers(ha), his bro. wore the boots, nothing else..so he wasn't a cowboy. So am I a cowboy too?

  • i have this dvd. excellent show. and i love the way they performed this song here.

  • Comment removed

  • Amazing performance..GREAT song..and thats coming from a guy whose last two concerts were Clutch and the Wu-Tang Clan.

  • i love these ppl lol theyre amazing

  • é a primeira vez q eu vejo alguem usando um banjo

is the first time I see a person using a banjo ( i'm brasilian and i dont know the translation of banjo to inglish (its one country instrument i think its common in the countryside)

  • Its not just a great song by a great band - this particular track - the intimacy of the place - the audience was smiling (glowing) - the band was smiling (glowing and almost floating) - there was a total harmony thing going on between everyone in that room that was just MAGNIFIQUE - what a beautifully magic track.

  • The Dixie Chicks are the greatest female country vocalists!! "I mean buisness", their the best. I'm sending you all this comment from lotusland, up here in Vancouver Canada. As for the video itself & the audience(the ladies around the stage) participation, it can only be summed up in one word....phenominal!. Thanks for posting this video & song, it'll be greatly appreciated. lol

  • i love them :) x

  • To Dianne with love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • love it

  • dixie chicks are great !!!

    love from austria

  • More amazing...WE THE PEOPLE, especially the CHICKS in the crowd singing TOGETHER....chicken skin...I was singing along....

  • i wish i was a cowgirl

  • i love how you can hear the audience singing along...great vid

  • 2002 in L.A., An Evening with the Dixie Chicks...

  • Thanks!

  • Those guys are sooo lucky...Natalie 'talked' to them...Hahah.

  • It must be an amazing sensation to get that kind of feedback from the audience. They're such incredible musicians. I have this on DVD.

  • a few artists in interviews have said it is the best feeling in the world

it always gives me goosebumps when i hear it and i absolutely agree with you on their musicianship and all around talent.

  • Does anyone know where I can get this as a ringtone?

  • Wow. Brings a tear to my eye.

  • I own this celestial concert on DVD... It's amazing everytime I listen to it... Great Dixie Chicks and marvellous musicians... What do you need more.....?

  • Love the Dixie Chicks and the great job they do with this song!

  • I want this played at my wedding :]

I wish their was a studio acoustic version! This is possibly my favorite version of my favorite song.

  • people pay too much attention, to what they say, and not enough to what they sing. i may not agree w/ them, but they still rock.

  • Those were two lucky men!

    Beautiful song...
