You gotta move motor mounts forward. And put im longer  throttle linkages and the hole wiring harness has to have some length addad to it. An also to the dumb dumb s10 never came with 305s in them. The 4.3 is a monster big v 6. A 305 is a 5.0 liter engine dumb ass.

@TheBjiii It's actually not too hard, believe it or not. If you get an older S10 pickup, they come with 305's. People take out the 4.3L and drop in a 350 without any problems. Almost everything is exactly the same, even the motor mounts. A V8 Literally bolts right in, in an S-10

@TheBjiii since those things came with the 4.3 vortec v-6 it is really ez, that engine is basically a 350 with the back 2 cylinders cut off. the same block dimensions, but not as long from flywheel to harmonic balancer. It also used the same transmission that was used in the 1500 series trucks. same bolt patterns etc. I am pretty sure all you would really need to do is modify the wiring harness and maybe get a custom built motor mount system. I know there are swap kits available.

@TheBjiii i know this comment was a while ago but go on s10forum.com its been done plenty of times. they have conversion kits and everything not too hard. the only thing is switching motor mounts and getting a tranny to fit engine and switching the injectors to v8 injectors if your putting a 350 in. most common swap really less than 1 grand in parts without engine and tranny
