They said the warriors will probably renogiate a contract with Davis because there are not many places that have the kind of money that Davis wants...Philadelphia or LaClippers maybe...

Even if they do release Davis, the Warriors will still have a pretty good team with Ellis at Pointguard and plus some extra cap room to pickup 1 or 2 more good players to accompany these new draft picks.

They will try to negotiate a new contract with Davis however I don't think It will be a great loss if they didn't because the warriors have filled their positions now with ellis moving to pointguard.

Plus it will free up some Cap room for an extra good player or 2.

Biedrins will be re-signed as Mullin stated that he will match any offers given to Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins. The idea is to be building this team around those two players and i think they will do very well.

Sorry but this press conference occurred on the same day that news leaked out of Baron Davis opting out.With that said, it seems that he Warriors made a lot of good moves after Davis left. They might be better without him.
