  • let.me.guess.... pitt lake bc?

  • hahaha the mountains that have taken so many lives.... rrrrright .. way to exxagerate douchebag.

  • Anyone know the gps?

  • Whats the GPs of the crash site

  • i carry a cumpass with me all the time in my pocket

  • Why do you change your voice but show faces?

  • I have been to a few wrecked military aircraft over the years. They are very difficult to find even when you "know" where they are. Plenty of hard work involved. Facinating however. Backpacking and wreck finding. Win, Win.

  • How in the WORLD did you get Stephen Hawking to do your Narration?! You guys are amazing! Enjoyed the Marilyn Manson music too! Thumbs up!

  • There was NO GOLD , however gold was taken and hidden in old hotel's storage in vancouver, and Nazi Gold is cursed , believe it or not.

  • nazi Gold in a WW2 bomber that crashed in 53? I belive that a plane crashed, thats all you get from me 2 stars.

  • the gold is all mine.....there's gold in them hill's

  • there is no such thing as global warming dipshit

  • @fnlrun The planet warms up and cools down on it's own, we're just not the one's causing it. Al Gore was trying to cash in on a natural cycle and blame it on our emissions so he could become rich by selling "carbon footprint" alowances, which was a scam job for sure. He's a Crook, glad he didn't succeed.

  • @fnlrun

    Yes there is.

  • @KleineHansel No, theirs not, it's an Al Gore pipe dream that funnels billions of dollars into the pockets of Liberals.

  • @fnlrun

Liburul? Liburul! LIBURUASLDFJAÖSLKDJF! Well guess what, I'm not a liburul.

  • why is there a pact for this crash site...i got a friend whos a bush mechanic in the NWT and thay find crashes all the time, granted not as old as this one but non the less...now i didn't quit understand the ausio in the first vid, is the "gold" found? or is it all B.S.???

  • Wow, this is so incredible. Here in Fort Worth Texas in 1949, a B36 Peacemaker crashed on takeoff at Carswell AFB, and crashed into Lake Worth which the runway ends at. It killed 4 of the occupants.

I had heard storys about a "Cargo plane" crash on the lake, from my dad growing up. So I researched and found this tragic story of what really happened.

Nice video btw. I hope the remains get identified and returned to the famly of the victim.

  • what happen to the guy body?

    did you take him down?

Did the air froce go get?

Please tell me his family got to put him to rest +

  • I totally dig this, but what's up with the audio?

you're not afraid to show faces, so why mask the voice with a computer or vocoder?

  • want to know email me. ill tell ya for nuttin'

  • Sure do you know the location, and whats the best way to get there do you need a plane or is there any roads that get you somewhat close. Thanks

  • thanks

  • fine then...

  • It's just up the hill from Widgeon Lake. We used to fly in there and fish for trout.

  • I want to go the Sat do you have any tips on getting there.

    Thanks

  • so much for the teeth. Now let's see us some gold.

  • i kno wherethe wreckage is in kelso area of the same type of plane almost got cuaght to being up there i guess they don't want you there

  • ok and now part 3 please

  • For me, that location does not show anything on the screen of value, and those coordinates are far north of Pitt lake... unlikely that that is the actual location of the crash site, or it is the crappy detail of the picture... :(

  • where you landed your airplane seems obvious. full 12-hour day trip on the second day can't be too far from drop off. crash site seems about 1600m+ from the permanent snowfield and sun direction. but i still dont know where it is :-D

  • Good deducing. Keep looking. You will find the crashed bomber wreckage.

  • Without the searching of the wreckage, it would spoil the trip.

  • Do you mean "searching for the wreckage" of the bomber? Or "searching THE wreckage" of the crashed bomber?

  • have you heard of flight 92075. a famous crash involving a b36 and maybe a nuke. the first broken arrow

  • Great video...but the narration is a bit Stephen Hawking - like...but fantastic job and Canada looks beautiful...thanks for posting

  • Hey, you made it to "fist" rock (7:07). You're getting getting warmer! m-

  • Fist rock? I don't get it.

  • Just moved to Canada recently and heard about the crash. Historian by trade and archaeologist by former profession. Going to try this journey sometime this year.

  • How did you hear about the crash forsevensd?

  • Did you make it up there, any pointer how to get there?

  • well, try hiking up spindle canyon, its pretty easy to find if your familiar with the Peneplain Peak area, via spindle canyon...along the way are some pretty cool sites

  • Yes. I have hiked up Spindle Canyon. Once from Pitt Lake to Spindle Lake, and once from the top of the canyon down to Spindle Lake. Spindle Lake itself may be impassable, unless you swim around some lake-side cliffs. Or, in the winter, Spindle Lake will be frozen, and one could cross on the ice to the upper Spindle Canyon.

  • well, the only other area in that region I really have been in was a trip into was the five finger spires, and consolation lakes, but you dont really need a float plane to get in there...plus all we saw the whole time when we were there was clouds...but Obelisk peak was outstanding, great granite...

  • You are getting warm. Keep looking. You will find the wreckage of the crashed B25 Mitchel bomber if you seek it.

  • looks like thomas lake, was climbing up there a few years ago(mountaineering trip up to remote peak)...beautiful area

  • Nope. Not Thomas Lake. Keep looking...

  • At the beginning of the video is the camera tilted on purpose to look like the hiker is climbing straight up? (Check out the trees in the background.) This combined with the VERY dramatic narration was cute.

  • You got it. Tilted camera.

  • Bogus Naration, good photos of the wreckage

  • Sorry. My own voice is worse. But thanks for the compliment about the bomber wreckage photos.

  • Primo presentation... Very interesting...

  • Thanks. The bomber is interesting. Very interesting indeed. Working on another video about the bomber wreckage as some more startling details have emerged about it.

  • That is pure madness!!!!!!!!!!!!1

5 Stars all the way dude

  • Right on. Thanks for your vote of confidence. You should try to find the crashed b25 bomber yourself. I dare you!
