Does anyone have difficulty cutting the knit out? Or when a pattern is not straight and the instructions say to put it on the fold but the fold line on the pattern is curved?

i want to thank you..I have been looking for a video that is so informative and especially for a beginner ..I couldnt find anything that talked about the very basic things..like identifying a selvage..what is a grainline...ect..I didnt even know what one was...I was trying to teach my class of children to sew and didnt even know how myself...this showed me how! God Bless!!
