Yeah, you don't make the section it's about knee deep if you fall forwards! After a few surfs (the first one with a pod of humpback whales) I snorkeled all around the spot and found out it really was as bad as it looks (and feels) from above.
I'm afraid it was a long-term rental - 6 month minimum. Awesome place on the beach, but you have to catch them just as someone moves out and it has NEVER been left empty! Living anywhere on the Temae peninsula gives you fairly easy access to this surf spot though.
Jesus how shallow is the water at this spot looks awfully reefy?
