It is called "heightism" for discrimination against "short people" according to NOSSA(National Organization of Short Statured Adults) headed by Ellen Frankel 4 foot, 7 inches tall. BTW many black people laugh&mock short people amoung themselves, especially if a black man is short.

@creamyfilling102 No, but did you notice the wall behind them? I like the drama caused by the two doors on either side. It makes the statement that not only are we all short, but not quite centered either. The symbolism of the boy, girl, boy, girl winsomely supports Kierkegaards' assertion to, "Face the facts of being what you are, for that is what changes what you are."

That said, I read some saying the song is "racist", since when were short people their own race? It wasn't a census option.

Shoot, I was halfway arranging this song myself when I found this version. Even though I truly think it's too legato and the soprano's sing to high at a certain point, it's a very good version of this song and I love (and hate LOL) the fact that there's more rany newman fans out there who just like me felt the urge to work with his material.
