I was there at Bentwaters too during that year when snow fell. Actually I was one of the last 200 people who shut the base down. My First Sgt (forget his last name--just remember his first--Ed) was the one who locked the front gate and handed the key over to the MOD in October 1993! Good memories of Bentwaters...and Woodbridge too!
Wow! I remember building 6" high snowmen outside our dorms! We had such fun acting like kids again! I was sooo homesick, the snow was very theraputic! Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
