One issue I have with this performance is he's not actually singing. The headset mic is a prop. He can sing kind of like Britney but you can tell that the vocals are coming from a recording because of the reverb and sound coming from a mic would sound more clear. I would like to see him sing with an accompaniment track or sing over the track.
