I've looked at both versions of this boss battle. I have this version, but not the PS3/360 version. I can't really argue on which is better. What I can say about the PS3/360 version is that the boss battle graphics are really great. They have the visuals downpacked, but I don't know about the gameplay since I never played that version lol.

I defeated this boss in 1:07. To do it you have boost into him when he is going to snap you instead of using the homing attack. When you boost he flies back and you can get him a couple more times.

The controls for Sonic in the Wii version make him seem like a car, but you have to admit, the Quick Step looks so much cooler in the Wii version!

all the egg bosses are WAY too easy to get an S rank. even on the egg lancer, i lost a life because i didnt press the button in time for the wall jump part, and STILL got an S. the only one i dont know is the boss for Eggmanland, since i havnt gotten to it yet -_-

I agree that they are too easy, but dying has nothing to do with wether you get an S or not, it's all about time, and your time restarts when you die.

I believe you when you say they arn't the same. Just the other day I found out that the 360 and PS3 versions have 2 more levels then the Wii version. That's it though. That's the only difference. Oh, and you can actualy walk around the cities/towns and find items intstead of just talking to people.

Also, all the levels are completely different, none of the level design is the same. The normal sonic stages have 3 acts, werehog has 1 act... there is a LOT different dude... a LOT.

Well that's stupid. Why the hell would they make the versions so different? What if someone wants to play the FULL version (360, PS3) but they only have the Wii? SEGA really had their heads up their asses on this one. I thought this was the game that SEGA was gonna make it right. Sheesh, I might as well get it for Wii and PS3. I want to play the full version, but I can't stand the PS3 controller, my brother is the only one in my house who ever plays the PS3.

Because they were developed by different teams at Sega. They're just different interpretations of the same game.

Look at the Egg Beetle or Egg Dragoon bosses, different takes on the same battle.

Heres a tip go buy an xbox360 or PS3 and this game for them.Dont complain.(walmart has a deal on xbox360 there only a hundred and they come with two games but only during chirstmas)

I give it a 8.7 out of 10, but I just downgraded since there are 3 times as many night levels as day levels, and the text hub worlds are annoying. The 360 version will probably get a 9 from me.
