  • Who is that at 0:46??

  • Who is the first girl shown? (26)

  • AC/DC's guitarist and (bass?) player had a brother in this group, right?

  • @spazhat :Well almost! Angus Young is the lead guitarist,Malcolm Young is a rhythm guitarist in acca dacca.Their older brother is George young.Harry Vanda and george went on to produce a lot of people, wrote and produced-did their own stuff as Flash and the Pan,hope this helps, mate

  • This is absolutely beautiful. The music, lyrics, photos, etc. are all timeless.

  • Harry Vanda (who's singing lead on this rocker) has such a killer voice!

  • Paulette was great in films like the Cat & the Canary. The Easybeats were Australia's premier band in the 60s along with The Seekers. Check out Stevie Wright's Evie also on YouTube....

  • wow...love discovering a great 60's tune! Thanks!

  • No one is 'prettier' than Natalie Wood!

  • @Spartacus217 Youa re right, most of the modern celebs cannot compare to Natalie Wood.

  • sounds very beatles

  • the Easybeats were the first band I was into and their's was the first record I bought...and hearing them again makes me feel 12 again!..still sound great to me

  • This is a new one for me, but very nice - never heard of the Easybeats or this song before. Thanks for posting.

  • Never heard this one before. They should re-release it. It would be a hit!

  • This song has a Dave Clark Five feel to it. Got to get this group on my pod.

  • Whoever said the Easybeats lacked "diversity and uniqueness" needs to be stopped.

  • I'm just learning about them. They had some awesome songs and music!

  • Who is that at 1:26?

  • @TOMSCARROT Paulette Goddard, cute, back in the day.

  • They remind me of the Raiders. The guitar sounds a lot like the work they did in their big hit Friday on My Mind. Good songs both but I believe they didn't have enough diversity or uniqueness to last very long.

  • @imkluu the easybeats were unique, they had their own sound. The reason for the split was more about the songwriting unit of stevie/george changed to george/harry and they became very much in charge and decided to do their own thing.

  • eorge Young, one of the guitar players for this band is the older brother of Angus and Malcom Young of AC/DC

  • I was in Sydney in 1968, and these fellows were real Aussie treasures.

  • This is a really excellent song. This group deserved far greater success here in the UK than they achieved. But thank you so much for posting it here. At least the song, and the group, are getting a second chance this way. Hope it's not too late for the group to benefit in some way...

  • Nothing today can stand up to this.

I remember the Easybeats but do not remember this song.

74Sodapop Thanks for posting this song with all the beautiful ladies. As a Fashion Photographer I can appreciate this video

    Thank You. Sir David

  • My second fave song off this LP, after "Friday." The Beatles meet the Dave Clark Five meet Peter and Gordon meet the Beach Boys. Pop-rock was never better, nor more intelligent.

  • why can't today's pop music be like this? This was GOOD today's pop is shit

  • You said a mouthfull there rockstar5286!!! The pop music today is a far cry from this era's greatest!!

  • it could be good, but the Hollywood and New York producers want to sell us shit. They don't want us to see beautiful women dancing and handsome men singing. No talented musicians playing. No they want to push their agenda and sell shit that degrades women and talks about violence towards women! I hate rap and that shit! Rock and Roll forever!

  • My favorite is "Lisa" by them, and "Baby I'm-A Comin' To Love You." But this is great. Can anyone find the others for me?

  • This is probably the prettiest song they ever did, love, love the harmony and different tracks going on at the same time! Love the Easybeats!!

  • i also like a rare cut of the hollies charlie and fred and mad professor blythe

  • great old tune !

the background singing a bit in Mamas and Papas style... was exactly zeitgeist of the music in ´67.

    5*

  • AWESOME POST TY thanks garyco awesome share AWESOME AUSSIES 10**********

  • Great & Rare Song by The Easybeats..I Love it!...Thanks Anita

  • Great song, first I've heard it, thanks for the upload. :D

  • I love the The Easybeats.. join my grop on facebook! "Easybeats"

  • AC/DC FOREVER!!

  • AC/DC Forever?

  • George Young is Angus & Malcolm Young's big brother, and was a huge influence on lots of early AC/DC music. He was an incredible musican & could play nearly any instrument - he often played bass for AC/DC & he was the one who refined many of the most clasic AC/DC riffs. The Easys paved the way for AC/DC in Australia. Without the Easybeats, there would be no AC/DC....

    AC/DC FOREVER!!!

  • yes I know. just wondering why you wrote AC/DC.. :P

  • If you knew, that wasn't the brightest question in the world. Why else would I be hailing AC/DC on an Easybeats vid?

  • We all know that, but the question is: why on hell did you write "ACDC forever" on an Easybeats video. Easybeats where, do I have to remain it to you, George Young (Angus and Malcom's brother) played guitar, and later produced with ACDC for six albums, giving them the opportunity to become the fantastic band we all know and love. why? Hahaha!

  • Remain it to me? Wierd.

I wrote it because... well, because I can.

    Watch this:

    AC/DC FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

    Whatcha gonna do about it?

  • Aaargh! It's too much for me. Go to see Flash and the Pan vid "Waiting for a train", please.

  • Did this inspire "Smelly Cat" by Phoebe?

Don't start a shitstorm, I LOVE these guys, else I wouldn't waste my time here!

  • Hey, yeah it does sound a bit like it! These guys can actually sing lol...

  • Thanks for this great song 74 soda pop, the names Erik.

  • Glad you like it.Erik.Always loved this 67 groove.

  • The Easybeats sound like the Beatles in this song.

  • great band great song great sound!

  • Precious voices..

  • Ha! if you hear the backing vocals,it says big blue eyes and long blonde hair, but the video is mostly brunettes, ha ha ha...ok.

  • I guess I use my own taste.I do have Grace Kelly and Scarlett Johannsen there.Grace and Scarlett are pretty gourgeous.I should pay attention to the lyrics.

  • @garyco3 She has big blue eyes & long blonde hair.

But only if you find her in the crowd.

    Think about it?

  • Great song from a great group!

  • I adore The Easybeats, I first heard this song on a crappy cheap "best of" cassette I bought in a garage in the late 1980's. Thanks for posting this!

  • this is a rare song from the easybeats.Kewl vibe!

  • Great song!

  • oh thanks. i love this song :)
