That's why I would like all funding for "homosexual research" to stop NOW. I am more than happy with "Born This Way". For sure.
Obviously, Rachel Maddow CANNOT wrap her head around the concept of bisexuality. I agree that all of these so-called "therapies" are horribly executed, but that doesn't mean some form of these therapies shouldn't exist. The truth is that gay and lesbian couples are infertile and cannot breed by "conventional" means. There should be a therapy for BISEXUALS to explore their heterosexual feelings without shame and they should be properly evaluated to see if heterosexuality is right for them or not.

@Brahmsfourth God exists whether you believe in Him or not. Abortion is a choice, as is homosexuality. If it isn't a choice, then it's a sexual disorder since there is no clear evidence that people are born that way.

To insist that everyone else is wrong because you don't understand their experience is very prejudice. Your experience may have commonality with others, but it still is your personal experience.

@Gemmabeta The problem I believe is with the christian right, that doesn't condone any other type of prejudice, but condones gay discrimination. They beleive it's a choice AND a sin. That gays are choosing to be gay and choosing to sin. If anyone can convince them it's not a choice, there goes the major opposition to gay rights.

Being gay refers only to a person's sexual preferences...not type of clothing, not "effeminate" gestures, not profession, not friendships. How stereotyping.
