As other people have said, don't use Fast Forward. The reason for this is that boomerang throwers don't work well with fast forward. The speed of the projectile doesn't scale perfectly and it only travels for about 1/2 of its intended path before disappearing, it doesn't actually get back to the monkey.

When it's coming to the point were you have to buy road spikes, you're doing smething wrong. So I personally would'nt recommend this strategy and just start with regular monkeys and get super monkeys, battleships, planes etc.

Two things. 1st, this plan is not full proof because road spikes did about all the work. (XAGGERATIONZ). 2nd is that if you try that now there is a tower called spike factory that automatically puts spikes on the road and you don't have to waste all that frickin money. :P

Its simple, you delay the 4th monkey until round 9th because you are not on hard, no green bloons appears until level 11th, on medium they showed up like in level 9th at maximum...

If u place the beacon at the top and palce 4 moab maulers u have no trouble at all with lvl 74... btw before u buy the superfreezemode u can upgrade the bananafarm, that way i ended up with some spare money ^^ very good video !

@GTRcommenter Actually, i think the developers knew that in order to make the expert track truly represent hard difficulty that road spikes, glue, and/or pineapple had to be used atleast a few times in order to get a perfect score. It truly tests your skill, strategy, placement, and build order timings (kind of like starcraft) in order to get a victory or even a perfect score without hacking.

@yuvalhuri2 Something I noticed is that with boomerang towers, you need to keep it out of fast foward, because the boomerang only makes its full path back to the monkey in normal speed.

I still think the best strategy for any track is to start with 3 or 4 tack shooters, then use them with the help of road spikes and glue for quite a few rounds. during these, money is saved for 3 to 4 banana farms each at "planitation" level. afterwards, things get very easy... the tack shooters are upgraded to firey shooters and can hold off a ton of bloons. you have enough money to get more shooters and later on super monkeys. You could also continue to invest if you want to reach high rounds.

@Superjombombo1 I don't think so, in apocalypse mode they don't send a MOAB at level 46, or two MOABs at level 50, or three MOABs in level 53. So in, say, hard mode, they send the blimps sooner than they do in apocalypse mode.

Glue Gunner (with final upgrade, or at least corrosive) Can save ALOT of money on spikes and glue (on street) BRF get you ALOT of money. I use Airplanes to save on pineapples

I just tried it, died the first time on level 66 b/c I didn't put down enough tacks and wasn't fast enough, second time I made a couple modifications like upgrading to plantation around 25 and then republic when he goes to plantation. I made it pretty easily with a few more lightsaber monkeys at the end and not having to use many tacks at all.

Very nice strategy. I followed it, except that I was much more aggressive about getting the Banana Farm early (level 9 or 10, I think), and then upgraded it whenever I could. By level 62 I had 4 Banana Republics. The extra money really helped.
