  • Anyone who likes Tool is okay in my book :)

  • Must be deaf to dislike tool... smh

  • @Bensunan but only the pantera cover

  • Trrippin balls to this video is amazing

  • Just a word of advice... No girl is worth making yourself miserable over.

  • Planet Caravan.

  • @RetardedTigerRUS @HolyMountain1915 @jimmyshitbags Haha, thanks all of you, I just thought I'd let you know I have gotten over her in the month since I posted that comment. She's become a total psycho bitch and the relationship she had with that guy ended pretty quickly. She now believes she's too good for anyone, she shunned her best friend because apparently she was too much like me, and everything I loved about her has pretty much died in a fire somewhere. Thank you all for caring though. :)

  • @ArmenianSnipe13

Hello :) I just wanted to say that I was going through the same thing roughly 2 months ago, and I agree with you. My feelings for my ex died in a fire. I'm glad you are doing better. Kudos

  • Step 1: Open another tab and go to rainymood . com

Step 2: Play this song while the other tab is open.

    Step 3: Enjoy :)

  • this is the elephant in the room. this is sitting in silence with someone who love or have loved.

this is the need to hear someone you care about speak. this is breaking the silence.

    mention this to me

    mention something

    mention anything

    mention this to me

    watch the weather change

  • @culikhan Nice.

  • Close your eyes and listen...

  • Like the weather our Dispositions are ever changing...

  • @orgasmicide2 or medicate to.

  • "Mention this to me. Mention something, mention anything. Mention this to me. Watch the weather change."

beautiful tool song. they never really disappoint though. we humans can always at least have mutual communication about the weather, and how its always changing..

  • Its funny how much more mature the conversation is in the comments of a Tool song by Tool fans, as opposed to pretty much every single other youtube video out there.

  • I wish this song was 14 minutes long not 4.

  • To me the two lines of this song each represent two things, interaction and observation. "Mention this to me" is interaction with the world, and "watch the weather change" is the observation of the world, and these two ideas form an individual's disposition, how they respond to the world.

  • I love the Bartok reference at the end, which then transforms into the ostinato for the next track.

  • Awesome job man! Great job making your video to an awesome song :)

  • @orgasmicide2 correction: masturbate to ;)

  • Another masterpiece from Tool.

  • This may be the greatest song ever to grace our mortal realm.

  • @orgasmicide2 and to get high

  • play this along with rainymood

    (rainymood[.]com)

  • My girlfriend, who I loved dearly and was fully prepared to spend the rest of my life with just recently broke up with me, told me she hated me, told me she liked another guy, has already had sex with him, and may be pregnant with his baby. I've been spending the last month trying to get over her, listening to Tool the whole time, meditating. I just now came to this song for the first time in this month, and as soon as Maynard began singing, I broke down and cried... Watch the weather change...

  • @ArmenianSnipe13 relax, breathe, as relationships every part of our lives it isn't easy but the pain and hurt can be managed and dealt with you have to learn to separate yourself from your emotions in a healthy way like relating to music, your doing the right thing, your taking the right steps you need to extend yourself spiritually to the energies of the universe and find what you believe it, believe in yourself again, because we all lose ourselves in relationships even the married and happy

  • @ArmenianSnipe13 10 years from now, she might well turn out to be a 300lb beast, with 6 kids, living in a trailer, washing herself with a rag on a stick, having contracted a nasty incurable STD along the way - and that other guy might be stuck with her having to deal with her shit. This might turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you.

  • @jimmyshitbags Ahahaha, thank you for that. xD

  • @ArmenianSnipe13 I have been there as well my friend almost in the same fashion. I still will break down from time to time to this song. I find myself reciting the lyrics if I ever feel uneasy about anything. Something I like to do is listen to this song with the sound of a thunderstorm or something like that playing at the same time. I hope things get better for you and just remember Be patient.

  • @ArmenianSnipe13 oh my god this is awful ...... i hope you feel better soon

  • @ArmenianSnipe13 that fucking bitch

i hope the other guy dumps her

  • @Bitemarkx Already happened. :P She openly admitted that what she did to me was wrong, and that I was completely right about the guy being an asshole. Thanks for caring though. Breathe In Union.

  • @ArmenianSnipe13: I hope your over her.

  • @delarosadevin: at least he has good taste

  • @delarosadevin: yeah but fuk man a baw wah my girlfriend cheated on me post?

  • @delarosadevin I know I know. some nigguz take bitches to seriously.

  • @ArmenianSnipe13 =/ I don't know if this helps but think of the lyrics to Momma Sed by Maynard's other project Puscifer, "It's just a broken heart son, this pain will pass away"

  • @ArmenianSnipe13 you'll find someone better ;)

  • good makeout song

  • Perfect song to smoke a bowl and relax to :D I love all you other Tool fans.

  • @amarendra420 LOL I read the first top comment then looked at yours. Cotradiction ftw.

  • this is such...... an.... awesome....... song.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • put it on "repeat", i slept like a baby yesterday...true story

  • @mrpneumono if you think that, then life has yet to reassure its ultimate nature to you. remember being naive is the simplest reaction, especially when the latter is disdain for the way things are. i admire the notion, but thats not how things unfold on this little planet of ours. i dont mean to insult either, just being pragmatic

  • I listen to Tool while im in bed at night... they're sort of a lullaby to me.

  • refreshing, feels like falling asleep somehow

  • @orgasmicide2 Masterbate*

  • Good song to smoke 2.

  • Listening to this while baked on a bong rip on maui, only thing that compares was seeing them live in Oahu nine month's ago

  • beautiful song. the only one thats ever made me cry out of happiness :)

  • @MomWife19 haha I'm 16 and I don't fight over the internet I think its stupid... I think all fighting over anything is stupid

  • @mrpneumono How about fighting for something you believe in? Is that stupid?

  • @PassTheCemetryGates me too! I listen to the whole Lateralus album I don't know why but it helps me concencrate

  • this song + rainstorms in southern arizona = bliss

  • @myFISTwavesHELLO arizona bay?

  • I listen to this song at school whenever I'm taking a test

  • It's a beautiful video ~ thank you.

    ...ecstasy...

    *~♥~*

  • Bring up "RainyMood" in another tab and play both at the same time. Couldn't be more perfect.

  • @8cantrell5 wow.

  • @bdalem UNLESS YOU'VE BEEN ON ACID TRIPS THAT PROJECTED YOUR SOUL AND MIND INTO THE DEPTH OF THE COSMOS AND THE FIBONACCI SEQUENCE WHILE LISTENING TO LATERALUS, YOU WONT UNDERSTAND MAN YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND

    /trollan

  • @steeveewuzzheer1992

    I wishhhhh man!!

Acid is hard to come by round these parts :P haha

  • Use the music or don't....stop fighing.

  • I died listening to this...

  • REMIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! :D

  • Song really makes you sidown and think

  • FUCKING UNRELENTING GOOSEBUMPS.

  • This song so amazing to play, To rite something like this is out of this world. ILOVEYOU TOOL!!!!!! <3

  • the transition between disposition and reflection is something to jizz over. just sayin...

  • Just gonna throw this out there, Limp Bizkit are actually quite technical with effects, their bassist is also pretty damn good. They're multi-platinum for a reason. Tool could not make music like Limp Bizkit, and vice versa, because it's just how they're built. It's like comparing marmalade and nutella. If it wasn't for the flavour, there's not much difference. Don't go through your teens hating bands because they're popular, it's not cool.

  • Tool is asome i love them i want them played at my funeral

  • Brilliant music to experience psychedelics to. Result: 100% clarity.

  • Let us argue in peace godamn it!!! why hide the fact that people like conflict?

  • my introspective shifts in a glorified manner of unreasonable dignity all away

  • WHY do 13 - 40yr olds argue on Youtube about the music?! Just WATCH & listen to the music I get tired of seeing stupid comments >=(

  • "Mention this to me." it sounds like he is demanding someone to mention his flaws of character that he is inherently unaware of. Please mention my arrogance, my greed, my vices that can be changed for the better. Make me aware. But instead you watch the weather change and let me fall into my self indulgent pitful hole.

  • @entex92 deep. this song just makes me think of spending time somewhere isolated for a long long time watching the world and weather change around you

  • @entex92 ...wow that's a really good interpretation of the song, bravo

  • @entex92 damn you fancy

  • @entex92 Quite a theory there. But why necessarily flaws though?

  • @CrusadeFromHell Disposition and Reflection are essentially two tracks for one idea. The story of Narcissus and the ego. We don't need reassurance of our known strengths. We need awareness of our flaws so that we may progress and become more than we have ever been. To quote Reflection, "I must crucify the ego before it's far too late I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away." Our flaws can be our greatest downfalls or we can come to understand them to move toward enlightenment.

  • @entex92 interesting, my take is it sounds like a lonely soul with no one else to relate to except nature and the weather and the elements, constantly waiting for things around them to change with the weather, but they don't could be between relationships, could be how they see themselves, it just depends on the person, but this is my favorite song by tool and it's probably the most relate-able.

  • @amandasmith547 ultimately I believe it's a song about change, the phases in your life and the people you meet and lose yourself in along the way.

  • @entex92 That person has to be willing to change. Trying to change someone that is unwilling is a complete waste of energy and only takes away from your own consiousness. I just went through this with my ex and I'll never do it again....

  • This song makes me reflect about everthing

  • The definition of Disposition is "A person's inherent qualities of mind and character."

This song puts into words our thoughts, we watch the weather change and do nothing about it, we constantly want someone to mention something to us no matter how insignificant it is to feel part of something. Constantly looking for firm ground for our thoughts and scared to explore. Listen to Lateralus and it describes our thoughts from childhood and how we should rekindle that desire of freedom of thought.

  • Anyone knows where I can find the picture displayed at 2:03?

  • Sit and watch the weather change, literally or metaphorically, either way, its awesome......Tool has foreever had an impact on my life... LOVE AND LIGHT TO ALL---------Oneness

  • @AnologBurnout heck naw man, this and the patient are my favorite songs of theirs. I love tool's soft side so much. they're so melodic and unique. if you ask me, they are beyond creative, true genius's.

  • I came

  • Is it strange that this may be my favorite Tool song...

  • @AnalogBurnout not at all, it is my favorite :)

  • If you know just a little about Music then You will realize how great Musician they are. This song is one of my fav songs ever

  • am i the only one who thinks that maynard is talkig about HAARP when he says watch the weather change???

  • :o = my face the entire song

  • okay here it goes. i am a conservative, republican, and a christian. i fully recognize the greatness of this band...talent, lyrics, and composition. TOOL is by far my favorite band. THE progressive rock band. you have to group them with Pink Floyd and King Crimson. this is my favorite TOOL song.

  • 3:56

    it says "fool"

    meheh

  • me likey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is like the band of the future. THIS is what music should be. Not fuckin Lady Gaga

  • @SkullcandySteve1 i totally agree with ur point, but this album came out 10 years ago so its not really the music of the future :( - but yeah, fuck lady gaga lol

  • this is my rainy day song.

  • a band befor there time...

  • It just started pouring down. I put this on.

  • disposition is reflections intro !

  • @cammyl39 a great intro!

  • Judith marie keenan had a stroke in 1976 that left her paralyzed until she died 27 years (10000 days) later. the song Jimmy is about when he had to move away after this happened, Judith is about his anger at her still praising god even as she suffered, and wings for marie 1 and 2 is her eulogy. thank you very much

  • @steppinthrumyshadow

That is soo interesting. How did you get this info? Interviews?

Thank you for sharing by the way

  • Just learned this on bass... after borrowing my friend's wah pedal I haven't left my room lol

  • One of my personal favorites... I prefer to think of this song as a calm before the storm.

  • i have a rush of anger and this song is whats calming me........ this song is so simple yet so soothing.... truly a blessing

  • @sportsaddict122 finally someone who pays attention to the tool music!!!

  • @sixthseventh maynard's mother had a disability since the eighties she lived with it for about 10,000 days hence the album name. He titled it for his mother. Also the song Marie on the Cd is his mothers name.

  • @SlipknotMetal101 had a stroke didnt she?

  • @SlipknotMetal101 maynard´s mom´s name is judith.

  • @SlipknotMetal101 his mom´s name was judith.

  • @SickOfReality His mother died before the writing of 10, 000 Days. Just saying. Also intelligence has a hell of a lot to with this song.

    Have a nice day.

  • @Konformity1 His mother died when he was eleven years old.

  • ...watch the weather change...

  • tool alice n chains nirvanna and buckethead are my favorite artists of new artists of 80s 90s 00s but i still love my classic rock

  • tool, perfect circle, puscifer..........only a vortex of energy could cultivate something that is so meaningful to so many different people. all i can say is........fuck it , find your own way!

  • @1innbzness thatz tha best fukn replay i've read on Utube! Thanks!

  • i think metallica are awesome and love all their songs, although Tool are better than metallica in terms of quality of songs and meanings of the lyrics. I Cant belive that not many people know the band, their awsome!

  • @97rafaraujo Tool would rather not be known, thats why they don't post any of their tour dates on their website, and in their shows, Maynard runs off to the back, he believes Tool is all about the music first, and lyrics second, believe it or not.

  • @ThimsNovedDrahcir

dude ty for saving my "life",I owe u a beer! :P

  • Nothing can touch Tool. It's just unbelievably beyond anything human. These guys are higher dimensional beings blessing us with real music

  • @ThimsNovedDrahcir wow i thought the rain sound was apart of the song! nice trick bro it felt so fuckin mellow

  • tool is the best band of the last 20 years.

  • @BruisedEyeSockets No one is seeing Tool as the goddamn messiah. But the music affects people in different ways. I've gotten so lost in so many Tool songs, in a good way. It's people like you, lumping all of us fans into one group, that need to stop. Plus if you barely enjoy Tool, why are you spending your sweet time typing up a comment slandering those of us that enjoy the music more than you? Could have spent that time searching for music you enjoy more, instead.

  • @ThimsNovedDrahcir ~ Thanks :D high and had a braingasm.

  • @zimnipoff wat is the site and what does it do?

  • @ThimsNovedDrahcir A stroke of utter genius right there, thanks dude

  • watch the weather change

  • the song ends but i can still hear the rain.... strange

  • @Conqlusion19 Haha. Maybe you should turn off rainymood off.

  • @ThimsNovedDrahcir you sir, are a saint. Just made my day a lot better.

  • its hard to listen to tool and then go listen to another band

tools music is just so in depth sober or not the human mind=infinity

  • Peace and harmony people, isn't that what some of this music make you feel like?? So give out how you might feel inside by simply blasting the speakers with this sort of music thumping, a mix in the bowl and a happy disposition.................

  • @bassplayer703 if you sit down to play a Tool song on your guitar, you'll more than likely find yourself (a) playing a mid-80s Megadeth-style bass line or (b) alternating between two or three tedious barre chords that are right next to each other. Most 16 year olds can play most of Tools music.

  • @jointhemodernworld yes most 16 year olds probably could play tool lines because they have been playing for a little while, but no 16 year could write there music, im sry but u know nothing about tool, if u really hate them that much then dont go wastin ur time watching the video in the first place, and besides im 15 and i cant play there lines because i dont have the money to buy the all the pedals justin uses, there music is alot better than the papa roach and limp bizkit bull shit out there

  • @bassplayer703 Maynard's lyrics are deep and filled with something more of words, when you hear a Tool song, it's not words or useless ballads, it's all four members of Tool, whether it be Danny Carey's leadful and smooth drumming on Disposition or on Hooker With A Penis, or Justin's relaxing chords or rock chords like Schism, even Adam Jones plays a huge part, every member of the band contributes to these masterful songs.

I am really sorry that you can't see the beauty behing their music.

  • @sportsaddict122 r u kidding me, i absolutely love tool, they do have an amazing amount of beauty behind there lyrics and music that i wish the whole world will see

  • @bassplayer703 you dont need pedals for lines mate, i was writing tunes since i was 13-14, and still played the same tunes for years in a band. age and pedals mean nothing, believe in yourself mate. you like tool, thats a start, every serious musician i know likes or appreciates tool

  • @bassplayer703 man i believe in you you could play some variation of this if you tried and fuck all them haters ive been following TOOL since 95 its never too late, they are the Pink Floyd of our time.

  • @CreatureParallax you made me realize why i love pink floyd and tool so much. they really are like the floyds of our time. and as for the bass playing, i think it is really easy but once you learn the songs and feel them, playing this song and others just feels like from outer space.

  • @bassplayer703 Agreed :) finially people who get it plus most of the comments on Youtube are people with No lives so they try and start shit on here. because they have nothing better to do with their lives. then theres the people like us who go on here to listen to good music.

  • @bassplayer703 finally someone makes sence

  • @bassplayer703 I wouldn't say a certain style of music was better or worse than another. It's just a matter of taste. But I do believe that if you don't like a style of music, you shouldn't comment on "How much its sucks." you should just go away.

  • Comment removed

  • @bassplayer703 you my friend calmed the storm in that hatfull comment, you have something brave in you, i love tool fans, maynard gave you something brave, your a captain of many shields, sorry for the double dutch

  • @chriswilliamstool thx man,that means alot

  • @bassplayer703 me too, im glad there is proof of respect, makes lives communicate in a language most would scratch their heads too, but lets hope its good enough for the seekers to keep seeking, i keep it in mind so i dont lose anyone thats turning athiest or half snake :P

  • @chriswilliamstool what exactly did you mean bye the last part?

  • @chriswilliamstool some tool fans take answers off you without you knowing, they are twisted leech's using your tools for their digging, they are still digging most of them, while the others are climbing from them

  • @bassplayer703 you are a very super cool 15 year old!!!! love anybody who sticks up for tool, apc, puscifer, maynard or justin :)

  • @bassplayer703 i would have to agree. I started playing tool riffs when I was 16, but it wasn't until i was 20 or 21 or so that I really started to focus on the tonality, and actually using a wah and delay, and a metal zone. even still, its hard to replicate, but when you tweak into the sound and get closer each time you play, then its like art, and you start to build an ear for why tool is awesome.

  • @KAMcKenzie88 totally, tool and music alone are like a drug for me, i cant get enough, and i have found that the band themselves have mad me a better person and a musician, they open my mind to how stupid this planet is and how some types of "music" can be as well

  • @bassplayer703 Well if you believe this planet is stupid after listening to Tool, then you have learned nothing from them.

  • @fmshazam when i meant planet i meant the people running it, its anger, not hate, just like maynard has said

  • @jointhemodernworld damnnn, you got showed up

  • @jointhemodernworld you have no clue what your saying but its okay everyone is entitled to be stupid.

  • @jointhemodernworld youve obviously never played a tool song correctly then.

  • Utopian societys never work they have been tried and failed, humanities urge for power and wealth will not allow for such an idea to exist

  • a nice song about chemtrails and wheather weapons :-)

  • I listened to 'ThimsNovedDrahcir'

    "1) rainymood,com

    2) open youtube, and go to disposition.

    3)close your eyes, and melt."

And boy did I melt !

Such a wonderful feeling, you should definitely try it .

It was like my inner shakra's spoke to me.

    I still feel drugged.

  • @ThimsNovedDrahcir you just ruined this song with terrible sounding rain my friend

  • @Carthsgtr and if you knew any economics you would know that all currency is created out of debt. therefore it is physically impossible for this country to ever make a profit or be in the positive. fuck head. watch the Zeigiest Appendum (<----spell check) and get informed.

Think about it. When in history has it ever been stated that america was out of debt? Never will. The monetary system in itself is the most primitive, class dividing evil ever.

  • @jtskaterboy

Currency may be created out of debt, but that doesn't make it a good thing to have. By your logic America should ask China for a couple of trillion dollars with an interest rate of whatever they feel like, simply because "it creates currency".

The monetary system isn't evil. You all have access to a decent education, shelter and food. If you don't feel like working at school, applying for job's,asking for raises or attempting to start enterprise, of course you won't become rich!

  • @Carthsgtr the world as a whole has enough resources to put schools and shelter everywhere... but we choose not to because we put ownership and titles on everything. If we did not have money we would not have classes. We would not have people that think they are better than others. Everyone would have the same. But that will never happen

  • @jtskaterboy

How old are you? Like 14? You are living in a dream world mate. Ask any human being with a logical mind whether they would like the wealth to be shared equally or all those fucking homeless on the street, the lazy , the feeble minded , and the mentally disabled. Your comment is beyond ridiculous. I am surprised you can even construct a sentence, but hey, even parrots can blurt out what they are told.

  • @Carthsgtr "Ask any human being with a logical mind whether they would like the wealth to be shared equally or all those fucking homeless on the street, the lazy , the feeble minded , and the mentally disabled"

You know that makes no sense right? Don't be so defensive by the way. All i was trying to say is that the monetary system separates people into classes and creates useless occupations like lawyers and politicians who literally do nothing for this world, physically.

  • @jtskaterboy

Swap the "or" with among. Stupid mistake yes, but I am sure you understood what I was talking about.

  • @Carthsgtr My comment is so beyond ridiculous then why does the Venus project exist? Why don't you call Jacque Fresco an idiot and illogical? But i'am sure you wouldn't even know who that is without google-ing him.

There's A LOT of people that think the same way i do. Watch the zeitgeist addendum and tell me if you still think the same way. That is if your naive mind can handle a 2 hour documentary. STOP BEING SO DEFENSIVE ITS JUST AN OPINION/THOUGHT. It's really funny that you think i'am 14.

  • Love.

  • @ThimsNovedDrahcir or pretty much any tool song for that matter haha
