No amp used. Recorded directly into audio interface Edirol FA66 (any other interface does the the same job). The most important effect used is a multiband compressor. I use the built-in multiband compressor in Ableton Live 8. I think there are other plugins that have the same effect, but i got used to Ableton Live. All the backings are recorded in Ableton as well.
