@VivanSilva Yes. Go to the name of your site in the side bar. Where it says "publish to:" Hit FTP server. I did this with godaddy as a web host. Provide your username and password. I had some trouble when I first started, but it turned out I was using the wrong username. Once I figured it out, it got really easy.
@MrGinder23 actually you don't. In the Publishing window Publish to: FTP Server. I've been using that instead of MobileMe. Follow the settings in the Publishing window and then on the Godaddy site. You can also call Godaddy and they will help you set it up.
You should really show the whole process. I can't understand what the heck you are saying and you don't change the info to what it actually needs to say. You need subtitles or something. Just show the process exactly...not I did this a while ago and it worked.
I've been working on getting this up and running for months, I have done everything in the apple tutorial and yours and still nothing works. I keep getting "This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later." when I navigate to my webpage. Any tips?
@8AxeProductions8 hi I need help I did all the domain editing but i cant figure it out with iweb like what to put in the settings for ftp.I have a paid godaddy domain and it is .com. could you do a tutorial with you filling out the settings on iweb.
@Laxbro37 I don't think you need to change any settings in iWeb, there might something in MobileMe you need to set up though. Expect a full tutorial soon.
Yeah, i created two websites the other day. You know, after finish publishing it, you have an option to visit the site? I did that, copied the website address, went to go daddy and did the forward to that address. Simple.
Do you know how many website we can create with iweb, like a limit?
why don't you sign up for mobile me then you won't have to do all that. I created a website with iweb, then just did the forward with godaddy, then I was done.
Is there any way you can do this without a mobile me account?

what do u need from go daddy???
JUST a domain???? like the 1.99$ or do i have to purchase the webhost thing for 9.99 or whatever???
swetrich 2 years ago
You just need to purchase a domain name. SIgn up for private registration if you want, to prevent your details from appearing in the Whois directory.
