I live in a suburb of Chicago and I remember when Mancow first came here. He was really big at one point, but his "fake" radio got old. It is also true that many people in radio around here have said that he is very hard to work with. Radio execs don't care how big you are, if no one can work with you, you're history! Also, it doesn't help him that he trashes everyone when their not in the studio, but once they're right in front of him, he kisses their asses. I've heard him do it many times!
Living in Chicago and having the horrible, "The Morning Fix" on Q101, I decided to pay to hear a decent funny talk show over XM. As much as I liked Mancow back in the day, he failed. He may broadcast in Chicago, but he is not heard here, and for that he is no longer relavent.
