I have to admit, when I saw this for the first time, the only reason i was watching it was because it was a cartoon, but now that am older now, this part of the movie makes me tear up a lil
i was born in '93. i saw the first one in theaters (how rare at my age to remember), i saw this one in theaters as well. i never saw the 3rd one in theaters though, cuz i thought i was too grown up by then. i look back at the things the movies taught me, and i wish i was in theaters for the 3rd one.
Woody delivers a more reasonal comeback at 0:12 in LA spanish version: "There's no one to rescue!" He's just plain cold in this one. Glad I got to see both! Thanks!
thanks for this, i STILL love toy story today :D. it was my favorite movie ( 1 and 2 ) when i was a kid, and just being able to bring back memories makes me so happy :) . i used to have every toy story " toy" out there :D . anyway the point is im just happy someone in the world loves this movie as much as i did, good to know im not the only one out there :D
I wanna see the scene with buzz and woody in sid's room and woody says 'Im the one who should be strapped to that rocket' can you do that scene for me? thanks <3
I never cried during Toy Story 2, and I don't think I should in any Toy Story movie. (That's why I was so baffled by Toy Story 3.) What's amazing about this scene is not how sad you feel, but watching Woody and being with him as he tries to come to terms with his purpose.
This is my favorite scene in Toy Story 2, too! I always thought this was Pixar's saddest scene up until Toy Story 3. (Yes, even sadder than "When She Loved Me" and the scrapbook scene in Up.)
@Wizardington :D I absolutely agree with you. This scene definitely holds more weight for me than those other scenes as emotional as they are. Although, yes, Toy Story 3 now takes the cake. That whole movie was an emotional roller coaster, in my opinion. Still, this scene will always be special :)
@Wizardington I really didn't find the scrap book scene was even close to this or when she loved me even finding nemo had sadder scenes than the scrap book scene but yes is very sad

"I can't stop Andy from growing up, but I wouldn't miss it for the world." A beautiful line from this movie.

I used to also believe that life is only worth living if you're being loved by a kid, but all it's done for me is land me in prison.
