You get them if you are invited to come to Colorado Springs (US Olympic Training Center) for training camp in preparation for competition (International dual meets) as part of the US National Team. I think a few years back, JO and/or US Champions were given the red, white and blue shoes too. Not any more.
@dcamateurboxing I heard if you compete in international competition or something like that, it doesn't allow you to compete in some other tournaments. Is this true?
@poncekid56 Not true. We take both Jr and Sr boxers to different countries to compete. It doesn't mean you can't compete in any tournaments. AIBA is the world wide governing body of amateur boxing and promotes intl amateur boxing.
