1. Don't fake soul. If you can't feel it, don't sing it. And sing the whole song.

2. Crescendo! That's how this song is constructed. First solo builds, drops, build, build, second solo = frenzy. End with the only single note tempo change in the history of music. Second solo was way flat, no build, just a slight tickle of blues scale.

I'd like to see you do Foggy Notion or Cowboy Bill, more your speed and style. Maybe even The Gift, that could be a lot of fun.

They simply can't evoke the feeling or the power this piece demands, as evidenced by their decision to completely omit the entire second half and the mind-blowing solo that comes with it.

Any of several other VU songs would be incredibly well done in their hands, and I would love to hear them do them.

Well. Umm. One of my favorite lonely beautiful songs. Postives..sometimes beautiful lead vocal execution with the distraction of a canned ( recorded in a dead room) audio quality to it.

Only other negative? The guitar seems a bit heavy metal in tone when the song rises in feeling, compared to the almostr spiritual rise in the original.

But hell. What a great attempt. I really enjoyed it. Keep making the forgotten remembered.
