I'm confused as to what the uploader means by Guy being simple while Luke is complex. The reason I don't care for Luke much is because his artes are OVERLY simple, just combinations of eachother. It doesn't get much simpler than that.

@Archlvt I think the uploader was referring to the general consensus that Luke was too "hard to understand" to some tales fans back in the day for some odd reason.

I actually use mostly Severing Wind - Beast/Thunder Beast. Gives me all the time I need to whack my enemies one on one. I've adapted a mix with Crescent Moon and others, and I almost always finish a combo with Tempest. Never used Void Tempest at all, except to steal Tutti from Nebilim.

Guy is a great character, everyone just spams Void Tempest/Dragon Tempest. But that's a stupid way to play him.

For the longest time I love using Guy mainly because he's so charming and so light on his feet in battle. And I am the most motherfreaking impatient person I know, sometimes I put Luke to shame. XD

For people saying Guy copies off Lloyd, stop being fanboys.

His moveset is meant to use traditional artes, almost all of them being from Cless Alvein, if anyone.

Whilst Flynn from Tales of Vesperia is another matter, who uses Lloyd's style moreover, with artes like Sonic Thrust ( First appearance ), Demonic Circle, Rising Falcon, Demonic Chaos, Tiger Rage ( Unless you consider Reid's version, which is one slash less in recent appearances ) ANYWAYS... great exhibition :D

@iiLeGiT101 You do a side quest for these moves. To do this, you have from the time Luke goes back to the Manor the first time until the time you leave Baticual or however you spell it.

I've always preferred playing Luke and Jade to Guy, but that in no way belittles his great position on any team. And also omgwtflmaobbq at the speed of the Amazing Guy.

i'm surprised guy actually had other moves other than severing wind and dragon tempest, seeing as thats the only ones shown in half of the videos with him in :D

what limitations you planning on this run? or just the usual no items and highest difficulty?

Toss in no deaths and free run. Thats about it. If I limit myself anymore on Unknown mode it would become nearly impossible.
