  • Hey,

I c u haven't posted vids or did much in a yr. so l hope ur MUCH BETTER. I have NO IDEA about any of these cond. u speak of nor much on raw food except it seems VERY HARD 2 do.

Nonetheless, ur sis's doctor seems suspect at best! What type of SALES PERSON has friends call family to ''sell'' their product or services? Even desperate car dealers don't do that! Only telemkts or MLM folks! She didn't have some bad contagious disease 4 the CDC to get involved so l hope u avoided her Dr.!!

  • Saw a few of your videos about weight loss & health. I too have mild PCOS and struggle with weight loss (typical methods like diet and exercise have failed me). I just have 2 suggestions to look into that seem to have helped me: milk thistle for liver health (I took mine from NAFLD to normal per ultrasound in 1 month) AND Google Lugol's iodine solution painting. Apparently many obese women are low on iodine, even if they are hypothyroid on meds for that, so painting every other day helps.

  • i hope u get better... i love raw food

  • Look for the video called Simply Raw. I just watched it recently. Also, go to this site. It looks very hopeful. Never give up! gerson dot org or google the gerson miracle.

  • ummm, I think you need to go on a raw food diet thats more for diabetics or cancer.... I know PCOS is suppose to respond on an ultra low glycemic raw food diet.. it's what I'm working my way towards. you should get gaberial cousen's There is a cure for diabetes.. o_o and watch thehealingpatch 's episode on PCOS here on youtube o_o

  • Hi! I've read Gabriel Cousins book. His retreat isn't far from me. I've wanted to watch the documentary about the diabetics at his place, but short on funds lol. I'll look for that video. Thanks!

  • Hey Bjay,I posted you once before,I have aat also.I think you look awsome in you new videos.I wished I was doing as good as you LOL David

  • DONT GIVE UP!!!! Keep eating your raw foods!!

  • Try "The Ultimate Meal". Type in "The Ultimate Life" to any search engine.

  • Thanks!

  • i hope u feel better and everything goes well.

  • Thank you LILitaly773, I appreciate that...and thank you for your very nice comments on my other video. :)

  • ur sister sounds depressed. I think u need to get a 2nd opinion and a real doctor to check u. how can a doctor give a diagnosis without ever seeing u? is this doctor for real?

  • Ya, we aren't really sure about the doctor she was working with. My regular doctor had me get a lab test, and my level is really low :( So now waiting for an appointment with a pulmonologist team.

My sister is doing better as far as her attitude. :)

  • I can relate to you on this. My father passed away in 2003 from this i was recently diagnosed with this disease. I was in San Diego for a year and had no problems breathing or anything since ive moved back to iowa I have been put on 2 inhalers that are not really doing anything for me the air here is alot more heavy here than it was in california i am to the point that i stay in the house because when i go outside it is so hard for me to breath

  • con't.. I had a stroke in febuary and moved back to iowa they are not sure on if it is the disease that caused it or not a couple weks ago i blacked out and was in a coma for 21 hours i am getting ready to go see a couple different doctors to find out if this is linked also.I had a stroke in febuary and moved back to iowa they are not sure on if it is the disease that caused it or not a couple weks ago

  • Oh no, sorry to hear about the stroke!! Usually I don't have symptoms. However, when I get sick, it's bad. One time when I got sick I couldn't breathe so bad, I did think I had a stroke but I didn't connect the symptoms to "stroke" until much later. My doctor doesn't think I had one, but I did have the classic symptoms at the time.

  • That makes a lot of sense to me. When I go to certain places I can't breathe, feels like I am in a fishtank the air is so humid or heavy.

  • Thanks for sharing your experience! That helps. :) I'll be sure have my sister read it too. How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

  • Michael Jackson had it.

  • You may want to also research what TCM - traditional Chinese medicine or Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine) have to say.

  • You may want to look into adding glyconutrients into your diet. We are using products from both Micro Health Solutions and Mannatech to see if our health improves.

  • I have A1AD.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago.

I'm here if you want to talk.

I've been there, done that ---------

    got lots of info.

    Tina

ps, the infusions do not take 6 to 8 hours. LOL

We need to talk ----- ASAP. Especially about your sister!

send me a messge -- I'll give you my phone number.

  • Thanks! I'll send you a message.

  • Oh no! Well I'm glad it helps to share. You are always welcome to message me and vent too. I find that helps a LOT lol. I run a website for moms with diabetes and other insulin issues and our Venting folder is one of the most popular and seems to actually help to just get it out there. Almost there on your teaching degree!! Good for you. Sending you good vibes and prayers.

  • I'm lagging on the tests...having son's bday today and then tomorrow jumping into all the tests. I've also been wary of going to clinics because of the flu. But I guess if I were to get it, it would be better in the first wave rather than if it pops up again in more waves. Thanks for asking! I'll be sure and let you know.

  • I also want to tell you, I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to chat with me. :)

  • Oh wow, I didn't know it wasn't a 100% chance I'd get it. I guess we need to be a little wary of my sis's doctor. It's really surprising what food can do. My docs say most docs don't even mention food/diet as a treatment option for many diseases because they don't expect most patients to be compliant anyway. Even if it can't "cure" I know it HAS to improve quality of life at least. I know raw food isn't "magic" but I know I've witnessed incredible ways it has improved my life and health.

  • I used to have rattles and wheezes. At my last exam, doc heard nothing. I would get winded doing simple things. Now I can jog around the park with no problems. I've noticed certain foods can make it worse - cheese, breads, processed foods. My sister and I have been looking at a website that recommends more raw foods. My sister is considering doing the 10 day juice fast to see if that makes any difference. Won't let me put the link here. I'll put in sidebar. Thanks for birthday wishes! :)

  • A raw diet is eating fresh raw fruits, veggies, sea vegetables, nuts, seeds. I've been doing "mostly" raw. I breathe a LOT easier than a couple years ago. It decreases inflammation. Inflammation can make it harder to breathe and also some disease processes either depend on inflammation being present or it's worsened by it. I'm going to try to get close to 100% raw, but I don't think I will try for 100%...because it seems like going 100% can actually increase your sensitivity to some things.

  • I'm so sorry you have to deal with this...you are so young and so is your daughter. I have an 8 year old son. My sister was told you do the treatment yourself at home. They give you a machine. Why don't they offer that there?

  • Still waiting on a lab test slip to confirm and my sister is trying to get a second opinion. I hear the plasma is screened and low risk for getting HIV ...but the risk is high for hepatitis.

I have a lot of faith in green leafy veggies. I've seen them get rid of dental problems, eliminate inflammation and improve my asthma. I may be kidding myself, but after this weekend (planning my son's bday party), going to try to get as close to 100% raw as I can and see what happens.

  • Thanks for giving me your input. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. How long have you been diagnosed with it?

  • cheering for you!

  • Thanks so much. I'm feeling better about it and so is my sister. My doctor is sending me a lab slip and my sister is getting a second opinion. My doctor said we need to be careful of places that diagnose who also offer treatment services and labs. So I guess some of those all-in-one clinics and centers really have a conflict of interest going. Kind of scary to think that people would do that. So we'll see. :)

  • I am happy you haven't given up! Keep doing what you are doing. I believe that your body will heal itself just the way God designed it to do. It just takes time!

  • Thanks, I hope so! But that only makes sense though. :)

  • My grandpa came close to reversing his diabetes and he didn't even eat 100% raw food! He lived until he was almost 90 yr.s old. As for the other problems I'm not sure...but maybe try some super foods like goji berries and macca and super herbs...Maybe just try to strengthen your immune system. I know exercise is great for that! Keep a positive attitude! You will see results! :)

  • Did your grandpa eat mostly raw? What did he do? Thanks for the advice. I haven't tried goji or macca before. I'll have to look into that.

  • he ate mostly raw leafy green salads and some fruit (TONS of blueberries). I think he cooked his veggies in the evenings though and occasionally had small portions of meat (usually poultry) and cheese. He ate alot of nuts and he usually had small amounts of dark chocolate after dinner. He walked everywhere! To church, the park, he would ride his bike to get groceries. I think it might have been because he hated driving, but it worked out in his favor anyway :)

  • Thanks for sharing that. That sure sounds close to the "mostly" raw I've been doing....so that's pretty reassuring. Did he ever have a belly? Was he able to get rid of it? My waist measurement is going down, but i still have an impressive belly lol.

  • He had a larger than what's recommended belly....It wasn't fat looking though...He wasn't fat but also not slim.

  • Hang in there! Dont give up :) Hope u will learn more aboute it and fight it hard! Dont lett it winn.

    *hugs* <3

  • Thanks, I appreciate it. :)

  • OMG, how horrible.

You have a great attitude. Keep it up.

It sounds like you might not be agreeing with your sisters diagnosis. I think it is great you plan on fighting it. Way to go.

    Good luck!!!

  • Ya, the more I think about it, the more I'm beginning to wonder. He told her, tell your sister and mom and dad to come see me. Have your sister come see me so she can get treated and feel better. But I wasn't complaining about those symptoms, and just weird for him to say that I think. I just called my doctor and he's sending me a lab test and I told my sister to get a second opinion.

  • Don't give up! Doctors are great, but they do not know everything. Most of them know zero about nutrition. The health industry wants to prescribe so that they can financially thrive.

Keep at and I"ll be praying for you!

  • Thank you. :)
