Hey Chuggaa, remember that Onix from Violet City? That right there has potential to give you a steel type this early in the game. If you have a friend decently far into the game and has a metal coat, you trade them the onix, they put the metal coat on it, trade it back and BAM! you have a steelix by the second gym, Just takes some co-ordination with friends and some planning.

U-Turn actually doesn't get powered up in HG/SS by Scyther's Technician, the ability only powers up moves with 60 base power or lower, and U-Turn is 70 base power. But it's still really powerful :\

Wait, rage is an awesome move, but fury cutter isn't? I love fury cutter, it's like rage or rollout, minus rages need to be hit, and rollouts accuracy and mandatory-ness. Fury Cutter + Scyther with technician = awesome. Makes it at least okay on the first two turns, and by third it's already at 90 with STAB. It also makes Kricketune (spelling?) usable in platinum as one of the earlier bug pokemon available, make them sleep and spam Fury Cutter.

Another funny thing i noticed in his info tab on the side. All his pokemons genders were swaped from old to new, so his whole team was girls in hg/ss. And most important trainers, like leaders, have pokemon that match their own gender. Funny how their all girls, but it would of helped prove the point more if they were girls in the older games.

I've always thought that Bugsy should've had Beedrill and Butterfree instead of Kakuna and Metapod. Even if he is only the second gym leader. They're not all that tough even though they're fully evolved forms, and at least they could've fought back a bit better.
