  • It should be called in a different way. The song is just amazing original

  • You must have a great ear to be able to tune those glasses exactly!

Great cover :) A true pleasure to listen to!

  • You could play Ave Maria (Gounod). I think it's very appropriate music for this harp.

  • listen to steven sharp nelson's cello version of this

    it is epic

  • so how do you make different sounds with the same glasses?

    amazing..

  • @lovelyorangetree It depends upon how much water is in the glass and how big the glass is. You fill them to a certain extent, you wet your finger just enough to cover the tip and you circle the glass's edges slowly! :) We did it in band class for a piece we played! Have fun :)

  • WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?!

  • @concreatandwood4life lmao, awesome

  • This video is the bomb yo!

  • It sounds very tender.

  • UMA MARAVILHA, OBRIGADA!

    FAV.

    BEIJIJNHOS. M.I.

  • Beautiful, a gift for the ears , what a magnificent gift, thank you

  • Take it easy people! He's playing the piano with his feet!!!!

  • Loved it your very talented

  • Hauntingly beautiful. Perhaps a future project you could try to do this piece again, this time with the glass harp playing all parts, overlaid. Perhaps? However, I do not wish to detract from this beautiful piece you have created. Well done!

  • Now play the third movement. And no piano accompaniment this time!

    ;)

  • More like Moonlight sonata on piano featuring glass harp.

  • Such a haunting song and playing it the glass harp makes it even more so. Bravo.

  • WOW, just by touching glass he makes the sound of a piano and a violin !? WOW

  • The piano really made the song.. not really impressed.

  • watch?v=ysNd4QGOgeY

  • I feel like if glass harp method books existed this would be like the second or third exercise.

  • how the h e double hockey stick are there D I S L I K E S !!! this man is a guiness!!!

  • @jpcrosbykid I know!! He's a great beer!!!

  • Such beautiful talent this wonderful man possesses!! Who alone could raise such amazing music from simple wine glasses? I now know how awe struck Ben Franklin must have been to hear the glass harp live in concert for the first time, and conceve of the glass armonica in that moment. But how amazed he would be to hear this man in concert for the first time!

  • Totally the music wrecks it its such a beautiful sound it drowns it out I love this

  • cheater...using the piano accompaniment.

  • @samb9384 ok. you go set up a glass harp, and do it better than he can.

  • @Robotbulldog I was simply stating that using a piano accompaniment took away from what it could be. I didn't say I could do that..but I can play it on piano. It took away from the beauty to have it with the piano and glass harp

  • i like it better when its just the glass and no added other instruments. Many will agree with me

  • hey I do not know if you get this a lot but I would love to see or hear you play some final fantasy on the crystal glasses it would personally mean a lot to me if you did cause I am huge final fantasy fan not as big as most people since I am just starting my collection but I think that the final fantasy music would really benefit the crystal glasses as much as they would benefit the songs

  • @spiderdeathmall deffo man!! get playin FF!

  • Comment removed

  • @spiderdeathmall FF means Final Fantasy! if u knew anything about the game u would know this u ignorant retard..such an idot .

  • @corrmeister00 one I am not a retard so please respectfully keep your lewd comments to yourself. two I know what ff stands for I was referring earlier to the word deffo for I will admit I do not know what that means and so forth I did not know if I should take it a a helpful suggestion or a rude remark. and further more I would like to apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused in anything I could have said that may have been offensive or considered as such.

  • @spiderdeathmall (deffo means definitely) :)

  • @WOWmagicmanWOW thank you very much for clearing that up for me

  • Je suis sans mot ! Bravo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MTV was good up until the real world broadcast. i don't understand why they wanted to show this? I understand that culture also goes with music, but i dont need to watch a mix of "real life over dramatic actors." telling me what life is suppose to be like. i pitty you MTV.... i can't watch it for one minute without pulling the hairs off of my allready balding head. <-----sarcasm

  • My god... The chills running up and down my whole body right now.

    Eerie, haunting and utterly wonderful

  • That was fantastic - the purity of sound is breathtaking!

  • My Godness that was exelent

  • no mention of piano accompianment in title, i feel cheated

  • @rubberplantsandwich alright so it was a duet. you do it better.

  • @rubberplantsandwich

Totally agree. There's other YouTubers out there posting full classical pieces, several glasses at a time (long fingers!). The piano in here wrecks it. :(

  • @rubberplantsandwich I felt also at first but personally playing that song on the piano myself, I understand now why they did that... the glass harp is only playing some particular sounds which gives all the melody of that music... which is the hardest thing to render with a single piano... Now, thanks to this duo, it highlights in the best way the real melody of that music! GREAT!

  • @rubberplantsandwich not to be a dick or anything but it is stated in the description. "Arranged for piano and glass harp by Robert Tiso"

  • @rubberplantsandwich I know, right? I was expecting the whole thing like Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy by someone else. Not fair. lol

  • @rubberplantsandwich Are you a competitor in the upper class twit of the year contest?

  • THATS SO COOL.

  • @crazypunkjenny no you're not! :)

  • wow.. if those are the real sounds then man... you can get down bud... nice

  • like, wow. i was so not ready for that. so awesome.

  • You know what? You just won the game.

  • OMG! Another Dinosaur!

  • My body was not ready....

  • I tried this once.. made like 20 glasses and arranged them like a piano (with dyed water for black notes :P) didn't work so good, but then never REALLY tried practicing..

  • That was gorgeous.

  • ah i know this song from earthworn jim 2......

  • Great now I can get the wooden emblem and get the first mansion key!

  • Flip the table!

  • @jamevil148 (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

  • @theresignation00 ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

  • flight of the bumblebee?

  • @cowithafro YEAH I thought of this one too haha xD

  • cool!

  • divinamente perfeito!parabéns amigo !

  • how can this be disliked?? its so nice and requires such a talent to do it...

  • I love this song on the piano but I love it even more with him playing. Creative people are awesome.

  • love it!

  • very pretty :)

  • This is so awesome..hahah

  • Would appreciate some commentary on how you tune the glasses. It would seem the tuning must be tempered. Yet there is so much clarity in the sound.

  • This gives me a whole new perspective on the piece. I have been playing it on the piano for years. You inspire me to do much better than I have been.

  • 3rd movement plz :) jk lol.. It's amazing though! :D

  • loved it!

  • when i saw fuck your face..e has it /bow that is un real, 599 577 2841

  • really awesome performance though

  • oh my god i cant imagaine how long it would take to tune all those glasses....

  • 8 people are def.

  • Magical sound....

  • Lovely....you are incredible!

  • 8 people cant play a flute too

  • you're amazing with this I know I've seen your other videos, but in this one you are just playing the left hand for the song.. that's too easy ... a 4 year old can play that... please could you try and go for the main melody ;)

  • @alberto211393 If it was so easy to play (on a glass harp) then why are you asking him to play it for you? if a 4 year old can play it then you should be able to play this (on a glass harp) quite easily right?

  • @jajabinksofstarwars check his other vids, he's better than this, I'm just giving some feedback. and just kick u off your cloud, I didn't day anything about glass harp.. of course I mean PIANO cleaver kid, if glass harp was that common nobody would care about this vid at all. yet u keep on repeating on a glassharp... makes me believe u can't use logic... now if you believe roberttiso is so bad to play the glassharp then keep on defending him.. as if my comment was meant to attack him.

  • @alberto211393 I didn't know I was on a cloud lol so what's it like? being on a cloud that is since you seem to know all about it and of course you didn't say anything about glass harp, you also didn't say anything about a piano and lets not talk about logic because logic would mean I'm defending him because it SEEMED like he was being belittled by a not-so-know-it-all-troll... however, since you weren't It's my mistake although instead of arguing on a nice piece of music lets just enjoy it ^^

  • this is absolutely brilliant!!! :D

  • Amazing and beautiful <3

  • THIS IS FREAKIN' AWESOME DUDE!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D

  • @DaweKrummie lol i don't think most people know about the second movement of this song let alone the third

  • jill has nothing on this

  • Respect... period...

  • I have so much respect for you.

  • @Alt0233 That, plain and simple, is by far the best youtube comment I've ever seen.

  • @jkkdf44 Oh, I didn't even notice mine was voted the top comment until you said something haha! Mr. Tiso has such a gift! I wish I could do something special like that.

  • all it takes is one retard with a bb gun and its all over...

  • Ya' know.....Your pretty fucking awesome....I can't stop watching this shit.

  • never mind, i've watched the tutorial :)

  • how do you arrange the glasses? i mean on glass harmonica it's the same as on a piano, but how is it on your instrument?

  • hi robert, I get goosebumps when I hear your music, please make more music that´s so beautiful....sorry my badly english, I only wright in schoolenglish and my school is very much years ago. Have a nice weekend!

  • rusty ass glasses lmaoo jk very nice

  • @roberttiso I have had a life long love for the music of Beethoven. I first became interested at the age of 5 when my Kindergarden teacher introduced me to it in 1959. My all time favorite is this piece, "Moonlight," that is. To think that Beethoven was totally deaf for the last 17 years of his tragicly short life, just serves to stregthen my love of his music.

What you have done here has just recharged my love for some of the most compelling music to touch my soul. Thank you very much.

  • oops i mean soo nice ;)

  • omg i wish i has this on my ipod and my phone it helping me relax.. is soo nicw

  • Wow Mr Tiso you are a great inspiration, excellently played. are there certain type of glasses you use? it must take you a while to make them sound as they do with diff levels of water in each one. lol i couldnt do it. Do you play any other instruments like piano?

  • It's good. How do you produce such sound?

  • simply brillant!!!!!!

  • This is great! You are absolutely fabulous!!!

  • Lindo, Beautiful, Belo, Increible

  • è meraviglioso..il suono è perfettamente calzante.

  • Freaking incredible!!

  • i love this, its so calm ! im probably the only 17year old girl who likes this haha

  • do you use regular water? and do you fill it to get the tone you need? is that vinigar you dip your fingers in to play?

  • if i press replay on more time i think it will break

  • Robert, you have taken a simple, natural quality of Crystal and used it make beautiful music for others to enjoy. Very creative and beautiful. I watched and listened to some of the other "glass harp" musicians. Their touch is much more noticeable and heavy. You have refined your technique to the degree that I would definitely call you an "artist". Thanks for sharing.

  • WOW !

  • @roberttiso I guess you can, because you're going to do your own version of it :) your own play.

They only will violate if you post their video or original version of the song.

still you're amazing and the glass sound is something to be heard on heavens!

  • @roberttiso I love that you play all these classical pieces. i listen to them when i do my homework!

  • It's like he's a wizard or something.

  • Truly beautiful.this is definition of amazing music.if only the world understood that this is real music.
