Time to put a citizen in the Whitehouse. The founders sought a republic governed by its people, politicians have abused their power for much too long. The only candidate willing to change the entire tax code is Cain. It will not raise taxes, but will replace them. Do some actual research. The "sales tax" will reduce the retail price! Laffer is right, the economy will boom like no other time in history!

HEY 999 people look up Peter Schiff debates Laffer on CNBC before the 08 Crash on Youtube. Laffer has no clue and is just a hack that was a flash in the pan and told peter there would be no crash and they debate it and bet on it. Shciff is Ron Pauls 08 money guy. I don't see the appeal for him; his 999 plan is going to raise taxes not just for the middle class but for 90% of the US, it adds a VAT, it's not revenue neutral and he said himself that he doesn't understand the 999 plan. He said "if you don't have a job and are not rich don't blame the banks blame yourself" I would be fine with that statement but the attitude shifts while talking about the banks saying we couldn't let them fail. He admittedly doesn't understand foreign policy.

@LordSparkisvati Why is a 9% VAT tax the end of our freedoms? Living in Texas is quite nice with no income tax and a state sales tax. What he did with his 999 plan is throw out our current tax system (including the death tax which is insanity) drop corporate taxes (which is very long-overdue) and insert the most progressive(income) and regressive(vat) tax. This levels the playing field, and if they make the bill right, it would be hard to tamper with it. I would be able to hire more with it too.

The longer Mr. Cain remains in the new, then the less money Mr. Romney will raise and thus increasing the liklihood of President Obama's reelection.

The Republicans should have spent 4 years working on promoting someone who is electable and able to be a great leader. Mr. Cain is neither.
