Actually, this is old news but anyone that seen tthe show would know that she wouldn't let him get a word in so that's why he did it. Yea, it may not be appropriate but what does she have him there for, if she's going to keep the spotlight on herself. The whole show needs to be shown in order for most people to judge. In my opinion none of them were in the right but I think having him as a guest host she really should respect him by letting him have some say.

It was rude of Clay to place his hand over her mouth, but at the same time, Kelly DOES steamroll over everybody and interrupts even Regis when he is trying to say something. Good luck getting a word in edge-wise when you are sitting with Kelly Ripa. Priscilla Presley also had to speak OVER Kelly (literally) to get her to stop talking so she could hear a question Regis was trying to pose to her. I respect your opinion, but i have to disagree. First: i agree that Kelly does tend to talk a lot and she doesn't stop until you yell or do something about it. 2nd: I disagree regarding direct comment on his sexuality, which wasn't the case. She did it because she doesn't want his or anyone else's germs. Clay shook peoples' hands before or after, so who knows what type of germs a person carries. People took it out of context, but what you claim wasn't the case.
