  • Doc Hastings, as head of the Ethics Cmte in 2005, refused to schedule hearings re: Tom Delay and Jack Abramoff, has his own ethical challenges when it comes to travel expenses and awarding gov't contracts. Not exactly a shining star as an opinion-maker.

  • @6times I was just watching a TV show that said Hastings was an oil-crook. It said he is one of the Washington D.C. politicians who are selling out the American political process to rich oil men. Is that truth?
