One of my favorite Frasier episodes. Truly one of the best comedies ever made for television. The actors, scripts, and dialogues were always beyond superb.
@YoursTruelyMe2 I did as well. This was one of the sweeter moments in television history. This series was so superbly constructed and well written. I miss it very much.
I love it that Kelsey Grammer could be so gracious to take the upstage on these episodes and give his ensemble the majority of the lines and plot; the focus on the show "Frasier" is on Niles and Daphne, egos aside.

Frasier: Have you been listening to me?
Martin: Well I tried not to, but some of it still got through.

having daphne family on the show added no value whatsoever. most annoying cast. i really dont see the point of them. especially the mum.
kerron68 9 months ago 2
@kerron68 TOTALLY agree. They just annoy me as much as they annoy the other characters, I wish they would have had them on much less than they did.

@YoursTruelyMe2 Dude... me too. I'm really close to my family & the dynamics expressed here were so real. Beautiful moment in TV's history.

'hows a corned beef sandwich sound.'
It may sound callous on the surface but in my experience you need someone like that around when everybody else is blowing up.
ShawDAMAN 1 year ago 2
Martin is totally ignoring Frasier's speech as his sandwich is more important . . . . :)
Dinner surprise for Niles . . . . They found a way to be together in spite of Mel . . . .

@vartika707 i knew there had to be a reason they gave her baggy clothes and she had to cover her stomach with the shawl at dinner and what not!

It's so sad that the writing took a nosedive during the series' most important seasons.

Amazing how they built up the romance over seven seasons.
